Philippine President Benigno Aquino III declared a state of national calamity as the death toll from Typhoon Bopha, the strongest tropical cyclone to hit the Philippines in decades, continued to climb.

if people do not heed warnings by the government and if people abuse the environment and break environmental laws then nature will come back with a vengeance. Besides the country is known for disasters like these and is in the typhoon path. why they cannot efficiently and be ready for these. as if they are not prepared and never learn. they need some planning in preparedness in supplies, budget, evacuation centers personnel, training etc. as this is a typhoon prone country. pilipinos seem to never or don't want to learn.
