First of all I want to say that I love Long Beach Island and do have so many fun memories as a boy visiting every summer like my mom did before. So it is with a heavy heart I have to say that the sea will have its way. It was never meant to be inhabited, but you know commerce. My family sold our house in 2005 or so. I told my Aunt that it is on borrowed time and thank God she sold it.( she was also getting up in years and could not work to keep it clean and well maintained.) May all of you who live there be safe.
Best regards, Mr. David N Mitchell
