Bloomberg kept National Guard out of NYC because they had guns?

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has been on the receiving end of a firestorm of criticism lately, particularly for his ham handed handling of the Hurricane Sandy recovery.

I sent an e-mail to Bloomberg regarding his anti-gun ownership stance. I actually got a reply. The reply stated that the Mayor was trying to prevent people killing other people with guns.
I then replied that it was a New York police officer by the name of Serpico who was shot in the face by a fellow officer to keep Serpico from testifying about New York city police corruption. I reminded the Mayor that if a police officer would shot a fellow officer in the face to cover up the police officer's corruption, then the Mayor might want to take guns away from the police officers who were responsible for wounding almost a dozen people with a wild shootout on a New York city street recently. Appears the Mayor can not tell public criminals from those other criminals wearing a badge and gun.

Most people do not fear the National Guard's guns. Most people fear a non-politically correct individual who smokes tobacco may have sneaked into the Guard. Secondhand smoke could kill millions of individuals living in looted east coast cities, including thousands of fat little Asthmatic children.

Not only do Bloomberg and the lefties want big government they want to be the big government. You must remember the their elitist agenda is socialist and bureaucratic so they must be in charge.

Nope. It was guaranteed Illinois and a few other States were guaranteed to go to Obama, Virginia was not supposed to vote for a communist, but they did anyway.

Virginia, unlike Ohio or Florida wasn't to be a swing State, but it "swung" to communism. Most Americanos don't know what socialism or communism is.

I agree with most of what you wrote here, but Virginia (with only 13 electoral votes) is NOT what gave him the win, Noid.

Uneducated people naturally will lean towards communism. This happened during WW I (on a large scale). The famous Russia revolution which led to the Lennin leadership happened during WW I. Italy went fascist at the time also, and then the socialist FDR was elected in the thirties.

Virginia, Ohio, and Florida easily went to the dark side (for example). Judy Biggert, Joe Walsh, and Allen West, one republican and two libertarians, lost their elections. Those are good examples of socialist victories.

Now, the entire country has learned they can elect communists who will tax and redistribute the wealth. This is one path towards total communism.

Thousands of cops and cop collaborators voted for the communist Obama. Police (and other govt employees) control the elections, and will help destroy America capitalism.

In Florida Obama won the popular vote by less then one percent.

If the Republican party would have woken up to the need for a message that hits a wider base they could have put Obama to rest for eternity.

Look how close the popular vote was nationwide.

Not a big victory for a sitting President but victory enough.

The Republican Party has been highjacked by people who are too conservative to be Democrats, but not conservative enough to be Republican patriots. Rick Perry of Texas is a good example. He worked within the Democrat Party campaigns of Texas Democrats during Al Gore's attempt to beat Bush. Now he brings in some of that anti-conservatism that he dished out back then when he talks about illegal aliens in this country, or saying he doesn't think the Union should have states defecting, but he understands the peoples' "frustrations".
Yet Texas remains Republican in spite of his not knowing which three federal agencies he wanted to shut down if he was elected president.
I won't even go into the Dick Nixon's, the Donald Rumsfeld's, or the Mitt Romney's of the screw-up faction of what happens when the Party isn't watching out for the common supporter.
