Ledger Live video: Jersey shore dune battle rages even after Hurricane Sandy
Ledger Live for April 18, 2013 - Ledger Live with Brian Donohue. With a May 1 deadline approaching for oceanfront homeowners to sign easements allowing the US Army Corp of Engineers to build a dune line across miles of New Jersey beaches, some property owners have still not signed and say they have no plans to do so.

The simple solution is to go ahead and just take the land. If these folks do not understand that it is the dune that saved the rest of us, so be it. I also suggest to work out a way to get their permission "temporarily" and when the dune is complete, agree to bulldoze their dune.
The first mistake not pursuing the original law suit to play out.
