What about those people that have suffered thru' wars, earthquakes, tsunami, shooting children in school, etc.,???!! Was GOD punishing them also?

Please stop your stupidity and unfounded comments...

If you believe in God, pray for the welfare of those that have suffered in Samoa, Am. Samoa, Tonga or Fiji and around the world for that matter...

I watched my families village in Vaisigano (Leone, Apia) get flooded by its river. I cried helplessly when I saw the devastation. I'll be travelling to Samoa in the new year to help rebuild, hopefully everyone can do something to help theirs loved ones too.
Much love Samoa.

I think an evil act of mankind is somewhat different from the destruction of nature. Killings/shootings are more preventable than the wrath of God.
For the sake of sanity, I like to believe all those children slain are now Gods little angels.

My dear SURF, not everything is explainable, but we do our best to find solace in people who are still with us for peace of mind, support and motivation especially to carry us through this journey called life.

Hello Tina,

I hope that all is well with you still, especially our families in Samoa that were devastated by the cyclone. Best wishes for your future plans to travel to Samoa.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance... Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Though I agree with your comments about nature's unforeseen power of destruction as compared to evil acts committed by mankind. My comments however, were directed to this 'knucklehead' above that's spewing hate in here.
