Cholera Controls Extend to Cuban Capital

A rise in cholera cases in the Cuban capital Havana is being traced back to parts of the country worst affected by Hurricane Sandy two months ago.

This article reeks of anonymity and heresay. The article is even written by, "reporters in Cuba and Latin America". I don't know if I would put much truck in this sort of 'reporting'. Isn't this the start of the major tourist season? We can all see through this 'type' of journalism, can't we?(I hope).

You really think so? This kind of reporting from, "Babalu Blog", goes on each year about this time, in order to influence potential tourists, and cut down on Cuban income generation,(which, by the way, eventually ends up reducing the citizens' income level). Who are they really hurting when they report this seasonal drivel? It's not the government - it's the citizens of Cuba. Something like the U.S. Embargo on Cuba.

The potential damage it would inflict on there sickly economy if tourist fears multiply and flock elsewhere would be devastating.
SARS in Toronto caused big problems.
And it looks bad on there health system and constantly pumped revolution.
They are massaging the numbers.
