Drop Off Donations at Bayshore Churches For Victims of Hurricane Sandy

Churches have begun acccepting donations of cash, gift cards and clothing for Bayshore victims of Hurricane Sandy and emergency workers.

I am a resident from the neighboring Matawan/Aberdeen township. I have friends from PA who are working with me along with churches and the Lions Club in their area to send out donated non-parishable food, clothes, blankets, and supplies for local residence in need, along with volunteers willing to help with clean up efforts. I just need information as to where to send them before they leave PA next Monday. If anyone can guide me, it would be grately appreciated.

i have a ton of clothes to send to the affected area...i am in the state college area of PA and would love to know where I can drop these off to get them to the victims

I am looking to team up with a group or few people with connections. Sayreville Fire Chief was out during the hurricane saving peoples lives thag night and in the effect of the storm he lost his house. Now his wife, 2stepboys and himself lost everything. I would like to see if i can setup a drive for the local Sayreville Fire dept members that lost there homes/property etc as well donate to the disaster recovery center thats helping that area. Wondering if itemswill still be colected ths weekend. I have baby items crib, diapers,and many girls cloths from size 18months to 7-8 girls. also womens sizes and jackets. Please let me know I would love to drop them off Thank you

I read on another blog that the Children's Wear Store are overwhelmed with so many donated clothing, but not enough volunteers (and boxes) to sort them and send them out.

Coming home for Thanksgiving with womans clothes to donate. Should I take them to the Childrens Wear store or is there another place to take them that needs it. Would love to help.

Where are donations for Keansburg being dropped off and what exactly is the current need. Also, if there are volunteers to help with whatever is needed, where and when should these volunteers go? What exactly do the people of Keansburg need help with so volunteers know how to prepare. Thanks.
