To all of you Christian right people out there. Bush should never have lied when he said he was a born again Christian since he had no intentions of ever following up on it as you can see. He would have been better off if he had kept his mouth shut.
I am a Christian, I never voted for Bush. Alot of politicians use Christians to get in office.

First read your bible, it talks about false teachers and false prophets, They were around in Jesus Day as well.

Second, When a person becomes a Christian he or she is not going to be sinless or pure: Romans 5:20

They are forgiven and saved. So if expect George Bush to pure and perfect, it wont happen and the bible is clear on that.

Christians do sin, here is the difference:

Falling or practice

If a person is a Christian , you will know them by their love, but a Christian in his walk will fall at times. God does not expect sinless perfection.

The differance with phonies is: They continue to practice sin and never repent. That is what you look for.

Example: A person who has been a thief his whole life gets saved.

Now during his walk, he steals again, he is convicted by the Holy Spirit, and asks for forgiveness.

Example of Practice:

A person who has been an Adulterer his whole life, claims he has been saved and is a Christian.

Yet he continues to commit Adultry and could care less about forgiveness, and never stops.

These are the people that ruin the Christian name. And there are many of them.

Also people who are too lazy to pick up a bible and read it constantly judge Christians daily, and expect purity. Their ignorant. It will never happen until we are out of these Fallen bodies.

I hope this helps.

Again, how do you know waterboarding never produced actionable intelligence? Were you there during the waterboarding? No of course not, you choose to believe amnesty international and the international red cross both organizations dead set against the US doing anything to protect itself. of course when planes fly into buildings and US citizens(even liberals) get their heads cut off or kidnapped in the middle east or south america, or any other place you never hear anyone but the US condeming them. So go ahead believe that the techniques used in gitmo and other places create an unsafe atmosphere, but in my view you can only fight terror with terror, when you get some good intelligence with cookies and milk let the agencies know you'll probably have job security for life

There is no proof waterboarding has ever accomplished anything, and it certainly hasn't increased security in this country. The past seven years have been a monumental waste of money and human life. It's accomplished nothing and it isn't even close to ending. All it will do in the future is make the US weaker, by draining our economy further, putting us into endless dept, and destroying our militaries readiness to defend our country.
If you condone torcher, you're the one who has the lowest standards.

Is that for me? If so, what would you do if a country invaded and was at your door? Just lay down like a dog? DON'T TREAD ON ME.

I didn't say what I said to be "macho or gung ho" just responding to stupidity. The original premise was a country invades us like we invaded afganistan. If I as a citizen pick up arms and try to kill the invaders. Should I if captured be treated as an "enemy combatant".

The "Chicago Democrat machine" could also be called the mafia. I think that is why some speculate they may have killed Kennedy...they got him elected...and he turned his back on them.
Clinton did not have nearly enough class to resign. To this day democrats oppose a simple photo i.d. to vote...gee, I wonder why?

You are a coward and an idiot.

With people born with balls and brains to do the work you wouldn't do even if you could, I hope you don't influence a young boy or girl in your reach.

She would be confused and the boy would be a pu-ss-y.

I think it's time for you to go find your flashlight again, and go back into your closet with you favorite porno and do what your ilk do best.

You're like a visable fart. Everyone knows you are there even if you don't.

I agree. Pearl and the others were not given any chance. But, we are a civilized democratic nation. If we fall into their mentality then we are accomlishing their goal. We become like them. This is exactly what they want.
The "Gitmo" incident was a bad political and millitary decision, and now, the only way out of it is to trust our system to corect it. As i said before, it is not abour punishing. It is about setting a counter example. What is going on within this cump, is a matter of a procedure. I think it is about finding a way out of it with as less cost as possible. We all know it was a mistake. So, let them find the best way out of it now with as less as possible damage for our country.

I read about the suicide bombers in Irak. I cannot explain that. They either do it because they believe on it, or they are forced to do it. So many. this is scary. I understand a solder fighting to death in the battle field. But, knowing that you will die, this is like the kamikazi in Japan in the IIWW. They make heroes of themselves and others follow. It becomes a chain reaction. A geometric progration. "Gitmo" is one of many elements that feed them in their brain washing and makes them more fanatics against as. I bet it is a part of their brain washing to become suicide martirs.

I am an American. I will defend my country and it's borders. I will not defend Bush and his like from prosecution as war criminals.

Try Bush and his administration as war criminals. At least 50% of Americans already agree with you. Let the TRUTH come out!!!!!!!

Read the federalist papers and try and gain some perspective on what the Constitution actually means.
I have read the federalist papers, and the constitution. And guess what? Freedom isn't free. It is not for the faint of heart either. It is very very dangerous. It means that we as a society have to arm ourselves, and protect ourselves and our neighbors and our country. An armed society, is difficult, if not impossible to overthrow. Iraq is an example of this today. One law abiding citizen with a gun could have prevented 9-11, Virginia Tech, Columbine etc - ad infinitum, ad nauseum..........

Remember, the Bill of rights are for the people, not the government, and the second amendment puts teeth in the rest.

Is it your position that we have no responsibility in the reason we are the target to terrorist ?
That we have done nothing to promote this hatered ?
I do not suggest it is our fault, nor do I support the criminal terrorist who belittle their causes with senseless killing. I have no issue with the Gitmo camp and why it is there.
I simply ask, are we 100% right and innocent ?
