No, the terrorists are not wiretapped.

It is only the rest of us 300 million innocent Americans that are wiretapped.

The look at our emails, flight plans, cell phone calls by listening in, open our mail, look through our homes with X-Ray technology at a huge expense to us taxpayers. It is a waste of money when we innocent people have nothing to hide.

When will they go after real terrorists instead of those who disagree with the Bush administration on a political level? Will it take a president Obama to get us all going in the correct direction again?

I believe president Obama will get America healthy again. We are all going to get Medical Care, four thousand a year for college, protection from the few terrorists that are out there while building the economy and stopping foreclosures.

This whole Guatanamo Bay situation is horrible. Few of these people have been charged with crimes, few of them have any legal representation, their imprisonment violates the Geneva Convention. I voted for Bush, but now I see that he is nothing more than a war criminal and a petty third world autocrat.

What totally unwarranted and utterly fear-driven hysteria to think for even one second that the govt. gives one hoot about your meaningless blather on your telephone and is spending huge sums of money in salaries and equipment costs to do it! Do you have any idea of what an idiot a notion like that makes you? You are beyond hope if that's what you honestly believe.
It is actually embarrassing.

It will be collect calls only as is the usual case with prisoners, typically the prison has a set up with the phone carrier where they receive a percentage of revenue from the call. Calls from US prisons in state tend to run $8-$12 per minute under these arrangements, I can't imagine what rates will be charged to their family for a call from Cuba to Afghanistan, it could be hundreds of dollars per minute based on the state rates and indexing for it being a overseas call.

No, your phone lines are really not being tapped. Big Brother has better things to do than listen to your blather or check your emails or open your mail.

If you want to stop the x-ray incursions though, you might want to put tin-foil around your house. To throw them off track, turn on the Rush Limbaugh show when you leave; they will see you as one of the "brotherhood" and leave you alone.

As for college, why in the world are you entitiled to $4000 per year of my money?

Let us be reminded that every detainee at Guantanamo was captured in war circumstances attempting to murder our troops. Because they were not in a nation-state military uniform they are not protected under the Geneva Convention and are not entitled to those rights. They have no rights under the International Rules of War. We have no obligation to accord them any such rights They are simple criminals caught in the act of commiting murder or intending to do so.
People who can not understand these facts are unqualified to question these circumstances because they are mentally handicapped.

o you really think there is a guy somewhere in a dark room litening to your conversations? C'mon, there isn't enough man power in all the country to do that. A computer picks up on key words so if you say "kill" along with "president" you might get a visit from the secret service. If you say "picnic" in "Central Park", with "muslim" friends you probably are not gonna be heard.
