In addition, you think topix does not know what you publish. Attacks on me will not delete or erase what you are and what you do. You should stop making an ASSumption of your---self before you know the facts. Do contact topix to satisfy your accusations of the reprint BS your posting of what I said. "On the one hand, as scientists we are ethically bound to the scientific method. On the other hand, we are not just scientists but human beings as well. To do that we need to get some broad based support, to capture the publicís imagination. That, of course, means getting loads of media coverage. So we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements, and make little mention of any doubts we might have. Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest." Dr Stephen Schneider, of Stanford University

The article supporting this thread was published in the politics section, appropriate for scientists such as the one quoted above.

The problems of 'messaging' to get the facts understood by a range of people without the proper background in endemic to ALL communications.

And the problem with distorted messaging such as yours is endemic to any public communications media. That is why 'useful idiots', trolls, Astro-turf and 'spammers', etc terms are developed. To be able to define what form of nonsense is being spouted from Fun Farts and his ilk.

"recent figures suggest that climate sensitivity is drastically less than the IPCC's old estimate" based on "

No, that's a lie.

Recent figures confirm the IPCC estimate.

If you want an example of the politization of politics, look at the way libertarians lie and twist what scientists say.

Deniers are liars.

Libertarians are liars.

You have that market cornered. Nobody can compete with you any more. There used to be Earthling, and a few really clueless boobs but they gave up as the evidence mounted.
