Good article surveying current data, and from the moderately conservative Salt Lake Tribune, no less.

Thank you, SpaceBlues, for this remembrance, of atrocities at the hands of transplanted euros, that Native Tribes suffered & then, in their dying, ceased to suffer. Here is truth about transplanted euro concentration camps(reservations). Yes, the concepts that Hitler admired, modified & used in the 20th century, were based on transplanted euro the greedy, racist & death & torture-dealing reservation system. Backing Native Tribes onto plots of unwanted & unknown land, Native Tribes were quickly neglected, & starved. When some tried to go to war, instead of starving to death, the Native Tribes were finally NOT neglected, were butchered, & a remaining 300+ Native Tribal members sentenced to be hanged, not as warriors, but as criminals.
//////////
From the article:
President Abraham Lincoln intervened in the case, demanding a review that reduced the number of death sentences. But he allowed 38 to be executed, including two men historians believe were hanged in error, even as he was preparing the Emancipation Proclamation to free black slaves in the South.
//////////
Probably more than any other fact of history, this historic episode of injustice, proves that Abraham Lincoln fought the civil war, not to free the slaves, but to keep the U.S. from falling apart.
As Lincoln did NOT care about slaves, he most certainly did NOT care about Native Tribes & their despicable conditions they suffered & died under.

Again, thank you, SpaceBlues. When transplanted euros are shown at their worst, transplanted euros find more ways.......... to become worse.

ĽNovember 18-19: Western Oregon and Washington high winds: The passing of a cold front brought high winds to western Oregon and Washington. Some of the highest wind gust speeds were recorded in southwestern Washington on the morning of the 19th. Naselle Ridge recorded 114 mph (184 kph) and at Megler Tower winds gusted to 101 mph (163 kph). At the Columbia River Bar, 97 mph (156 kph) was recorded. The high winds downed trees and power lines and caused one fatality.

AGW causes more energy to be retained in the Earth's biosphere, to be able to move warm & cold fronts, more readily.
