Antarctica's ice loss helps offset global warming: study

Full story: www.breitbart.com

Handout photo released in 2008 by the British Antarctic Survey shows of a c... Global warming has been blamed for the alarming loss of ice shelves in Antarctica, but a new study says newly-exposed areas of sea are now soaking up some of the carbon gas that causes the problem.

Okay, let's get the conversation started.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Is it going to help 'global warming'? Is this too a hoax? Weigh in with your opinions.

No it isn't going to help Global Warming. Melting ice means rising seas. Rising seas means drastic changes in the currents the regulate the ocean's temperature which is a big factor of the "Global temperature index"

The clueless wonders chime in again.

The clueless wonders never mention that the Amazon River dumps 6-7 MILLION CUBIC FEET OF FRESH WATER EVERY SECOND into the ocean.

Why not? Because it would not get people the slightest bit worried. The clueless wonder alarmists never mention it at all. they only claim the remote cold locations that few ever see with their own eyes. After all it is minus 50 or colder where all this melting is going to kill us. How better to further a scam than to reference places people never see. How much melting is going on in your home freezer? None.

6-7 million cubic feet or 44,883,116 - 52,363,636 gallons

of fresh water

every second

of every minute

of every hour

of every day.

And the clueless wonder alarmists never mention it at all.

"The powerful discharge at the mouth of the Amazon measures about eight trillion gallons a day, 60 times that of the Nile and eleven times that of the Mississippi. The annual average discharge is 6,350,000 cubic feet per second ("cusecs") into the Atlantic, rising to over 7,000,000 cusecs during a flood. "

I've told you before, the Amazon River's outlet waters represent 40% of the precipitation upon S. America, the precipitation coming.........from solar heating of the ocean waters around S. America. In effect, the Amazon waters represent balance between evaporation from ocean waters & return of those Amazonian waters to the ocean. This has been told you before, but you didn't care to remember. You should have figured it out yourself, but thought you had something to add........which you didn't because you are clueless. You didn't chime in like a beautiful musical instrument, but made a belligerent cacophonous bellow worthy of a.......clueless denier......

Oh, shut up. Any polar water that does melt in spring and summer is magically transformed by the powers of the global warming religion to be water that cannot be evaporated and redeposited right back where it came from. It is forever more imprison in the proclaimed rising seas.

Why can't it evaporate? Because the AGW crisis peddlers have decreed it, thus it shall be so. Let it be written. The ice will melt and fill the earth like a bath tub.

While the seven million cubic feet per second from the Amazon will magically evaporate and return from where it came. The fuzzy science of the peddlers has decreed it thus it shall be so.

Any who refuse to believe in this fuzzy science shall be identified as a "clueless denier" and banished from the congregation of the true believers forever more.

The GRACE (Gravity Recovery And Climate Experiment) satellite determines NET loss or gain of mass in the gravcons on the Earth. Grace has measured net loss of snow & ices on Greenland & Antarctica.

The Amazon is just the 'output' of the 40% of precipitation on S. America. The rain & snowfall on S. America is the 'input' of precipitation on S. America.

You are letting your emotional political bias override your ability to accept science at its accurate best.

Okay, guys, here are a few more questions.

Are there other areas where this algae is showing up? Could this algae be one way nature is trying 'correct' the imbalance in the air and oceans? What impact, if any, will this algae have on the fishing industry?

Any answers?

The sad part is that the "believers" never learn. When the truth is too overwhelming they just come up with a new way of phrasing the phony nonsense that they want to believe.

Sad, very sad. Pathetic wastes of human brain tissue. Tissue that could be removed and experiments made to help the retarded instead.

Only pop rags toted global cooling. You ween't reading many Scienc Journals, tho. 7 science papers researched the idea of global cooling, but 44 science papers researched global warming.
