To climate deniers - Need for change is now

All the Latin phrases in the world cannot alter the fact that deniers of anthropogenic global climate change are demonstrably wrong.

We can argue motivation, cui bono, back and forth, but Thomas St. Martin offers no proof for the veracity of the deniers' claims.

Al Gore is irrelevant, he isn't the source of the theory or the science.
If you respect British law then hopefully you also respect the Geological Society of London when they say:
"We find that the evidence for human-induced climate change is now persuasive, and the need for direct action compelling."
http://www.geolsoc.org.uk/gsl/null/lang/en/pa...
They explain the whole issue in depth and why they reach that conclusion as well as sourcing to the scientific literature.
There's no way they would get away with making up inaccuracies and lies that their members would knowingly allow their names to be connected to:
"The Geological Society of London was founded in 1807. It is the UK national society for geoscience, and the oldest geological society in the world.
The Society provides a wide range of professional and scientific support to around 9500 Fellows (members), about 2000 of whom live overseas. More than 2000 Fellows are also Chartered Geologists.
As well as boasting one of the most important geological libraries in the world, the Geological Society is a global leader in Earth science publishing, and is renowned for its cutting edge science meetings. It is a vital forum in which Earth scientists from a broad spectrum of disciplines and environments can exchange ideas, and is an important communicator of geoscience to government, media, those in education and the broader public."

This could be said for all the other scientific bodies internationally that accept human contribution to warming too.

"The world's climate is "clearly out of balance and is warming", the world's largest society of Earth and space scientists has said in a statement.
The American Geophysical Union (AGU) warned that changes to the Earth's climate system were "not natural".
Changes in temperature, sea level and rainfall were best explained by the increased concentration of greenhouse gases from human activities, it added.
The union called for carbon emissions to be cut by more than 50% by 2100.
It is the first time the AGU has updated its policy position on climate change since 2003, when it called for a concerted worldwide study to understand how the Earth would change as a result of climate change."
If I remeber right they said the same thing about the global ice age a couple of dacades ago.

Sure it is contributing. So does each of the hundreds of volcanoes, most of which which spew more CO2 yearly than mankind has done since the beginning of the industrial revolution.
Our contribution is the equivalent of pissing into the ocean to watch the water level rise.
HA!!! Gotcha!!! It DOES rise! Every 6 to seven seconds, it rises really fast, then goes out again, then crashes onto the sand again, then goes out again. Obviously your pissing has created this current, causing this unprecedented rising/sinking effect (and that also explains the foam). I've heard they're calling these "waves", or something like that. Some are even saying it's causing bigger effects, though they are harder to observe - I hear the current name is "tide", obviously named after the detergent, since all that sloshing and bubble resembles the tide effect.

And all this goes with the rise in CO2 over the last 100 yres.

Climate and weather are not the same. Warm periods have cold snaps and cold periods have warm snaps. What it does show is that the predictions have exceptions, the exceptions show that we still have much to learn about how our weather is developed. That's is really what all the "climatologists" are talking about. More hurricanes, more or less rainfall, etc.

We are in the Holocene Optimum, this is the time period most favorable to plant and animal life on earth. Started about 10,000 years ago and hopefully won't end any time soon. The previous 10,000 have pretty much followed an alternating warm and cold period pattern. Some of the warms have been warmer and some of the colds, so cold as to cause a loss of populations. Look it up.

Don't believe, know.

Actually no - People think that with "global warming" the earth's temp is actually going to RISE, and we are all going to get hot. Quite the contrary. Sure, the earth will warm up, but then, the polar ice caps will melt, pushing COLD air ahead of them. Thus, things will get cooler. Something we have seen a lot of lately.

China is having the WORST cold spell in half a century.

The logic there is flawed. If we save a little fuel on heating here in Europe (which we are, thank you) it will be more than out-weighed by additional energy used for air conditioning in Phoenix, LA, Miami, Saudi Arabia and Iraq next summer. Some of us don’t only think about ourselves.

Actually that is what you said. From your previous post:
“My point through these threads has been that the GW people keep trying to blame the condition on man. There are no facts that support that statement. more importantly, there is nothing man can significantly do to change the condidtion (sic)…”

Or are you going to say that since you didn’t use the word “theory” you want to wiggle out of what you said?

Alright let me make it very clear...
There are no facts that "PROVE" global warming is man-made. There is only theory. That said, I agree there is a condition that is called global warming. It is the cause and remedy that are up for debate and theory.
