A Hot Topic: Climate Change Coming To Classrooms

Here's the Brian post and my reply, for the idiots out there:

What Brain said: "If man made global warming is a serious problem, cite any experimental test of climate change mitigation so we can see if it would help."

My simplified version, for comparison:'If X is a problem, prove to me that mitigating X would help solve it.'

Obviously my reply illustrated the absurdity of Brian's original comment. If something was a serious problem, why would mitigating it not "help?" Further, why would you need any "experimental tests" to "prove" that mitigation would help?

Please tell me you Deniers comprehend this, that you aren't THIS stupid...

If you want to argue "Would X or Y actually mitigate global warming," you'd at least have a rational question to answer. But how do you argue "would mitigation help?" without being thought an ignoramus?

Especially if you've cited the definition of "mitigation" in one of your OWN POSTS...:)

Hush. But humans release carbon dioxide into the air, too, by burning fossil fuels. This activity has caused the Keeling Curve to creep ever upward since 1958: The lows get a little higher each year, as do the highs.
Because carbon dioxide typically peaks in May, researchers are expecting the Keeling Curve to break a milestone of 400 ppm this year.(If not, the number will almost certainly be reached in May 2014.) As of May 1 of this year, the last day data was available, the Mauna Loa observatory recorded 399.39 ppm of carbon dioxide in the air.
There will be no huge atmospheric or climatic shift once carbon dioxide hits 400 ppm, but the milestone has symbolic significance, said Michael Mann, a climate scientist at Pennsylvania State University.
"It is a reminder of just how uncontrolled this dangerous experiment we're playing with the planet really is," Mann told LiveScience.
P.S. Deniers are liars.
Even famous climatologists like Michael Mann use the lie of "this dangerous experiment"; they don't do their own experiments because the results wouldn't further their agenda so they make up an experiment out of history.

No wonder they believe in the hoax of climate change mitigation and the pseudoscience of man made catastrophic climate change alarmism; their 'scientists' don't even know what an experiment is. Experiments are intended, to prove or falsify a theory. They can't be our daily use of fossil fuels without control.

nobody denies climate change...it has, does, and always will, change. most people get that.
your claim is that man can mitigate the change.
we just ask....how?
what about solar flares?
volcanic eruptions?
the ocean currents?
are you too stupid to back up your response to the problem you insist is on our hands?

Yes, the teabag winning math...

Mittens=206

Obama=332. With teabag math, 206 is a higher number than 332. See how that frightwingnut home schoolin' works.

No one who uses a silly term like "libwhack" in a discussion of climate has even an iota of credibility.

It's a lie when low information voters believe Mann is speaking literally and don't understand the metaphor. It's a lie when Mann uses their ignorance, not to inform but to propagandize.

We've had atmospheric tests on thermonuclear fusion bombs. We've seen effects from those tests, local and temporary cooling from man made particulates.

Our science doesn't have the capability to cause a global atmospheric change from an experimental tests; doesn't that imply climate change mitigation is impossible?

Hoaxes are used to take cash from fools. You can't cheat using climate change alone; that's why climate change mitigation is the heart of the beast.

Nobody disputes climate change; the important issue is adapting to that change or falling for the ruse of mitigation.

tha Professor wrote:

The deliberate misuse of catastrophic man made global climate change theory is pseudoscience. There's never been an atmospheric test on AGW theory or climate change mitigation.
