Global Warming Alarmists Continue To ‘Hide The Decline'
It's interesting that over the years the skeptics who didn't believe "the science was settled" on man-made global warming were raked over the coals.

Hide the decline in deniers? http://www.yalealumnimagazine.com/articles/36...
The “trick” Jones was referring to was Mann’s decision to show two kinds of data on the same chart—data from temperature proxies (like the tree rings) and actual temperature data (from thermometers). This was a trick in the sense of a clever move, not a deception: all the data were labeled, so readers could see where the proxy data end and the temperature records begin.
As for “hide the decline,” Jones wasn’t referring to declines in temperature; he was referring to a drop seen in certain types of tree-ring data after 1960. And he wasn’t referring to Mann’s work—but to that of another scientist, Keith Briffa of the University of East Anglia. Pre-1960, Briffa’s tree-ring density records track the temperature records. Post-1960, there is a decline in the response of certain trees to temperature (possibly due to pollution): the actual recorded temperatures are consistently higher than what the tree-ring data would predict. The temperature records are the more important and reliable data, so Briffa had to discard the tree-ring “decline” records. But the decline wasn’t hidden. It was clearly discussed and labeled in Briffa’s paper. And Mann’s paper didn’t rely on any of those data.
Since then, a half dozen independent inquiries in the United States and United Kingdom have cleared the climatologists involved of scientific wrongdoing.
As scientific consensus grew around the idea that climate change is happening and human activity is the main cause of it, the resistance to climate science turned sharper and marshaled millions of dollars behind it. Petrochemical interests have funded think tanks, politicians, and legal groups that seek to take apart the science and the scientists.

I disagree. Your sentence should be, "Hide the decline OF deniers!
Its not that the airplanes of AGW deniers ever were high in the sky, since they never could do anything but taxi on the runway aprons. Lately tho, toxic topix AGW deniers can't stay on the aprons & are falling off cliffs surrounding bad airports........

That photo brings to mind the AGW solutions.
Step One: Cut global warming pollution via "strong legislation that caps carbon emissions and makes polluters pay for the global warming gases they produce."
Step Two: Invest more in green jobs and clean energy.
Step Three: Manufacture more fuel efficient cars.
Step Four: Establish green homes and buildings.
Step Five: Build more sustainable communities and transportation networks.
1. Altering our behaviors to reduce our individual carbon footprints.
2. Walking, biking or using public transit instead of driving. If you must drive, make sure for best gas mileage that your car is tuned and your tires are properly inflated. If in need of a new car, look into a hybrid or electric that consumes less or no gasoline.
3. At home, weatherization can go a long way to lower heating and air conditioning needs, thus saving significant amounts of energy. Also, upgrading old appliances to more energy efficient models and switching out old lightbulbs with new compact fluorescents (CFL) or LEDs will keep carbon footprints down.
4. If your utility has a green energy option-with power from wind, solar or other renewables-choose it, even if it costs more than the coal-based electricity.
5. And for things you can't change there are carbon offsets you can buy that support renewable energy projects that will offset your carbon emissions.
