Scott you have done a good job in being successful making the most of the opportunities provided for you in America and serving the country as you stated.
Henry and Sarah are obviously socialists and do not appreciate nor willing to do any hard work themsleves ... like many today they do not appreciate who is paying the bills since they are more concerned in receiving free handouts then actually paying for any of these govt programs.
They obvioulsy were asleep in their history classes...and do not appreciate America nor it's Constitution.. as someone already commented they both need to move to CUBA where their philosophy of life will be more appreciated .

I’m a veteran, you don’t know history;

Mexican American War – President Andrew Jackson, Democrat
WWI – President Woodrow Wilson, Democrat
WWII – President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Democrat
Korean War – President Harry S. Truman, Democrat
Vietnam War – President John F. Kennedy, Democrat
Battle of Mogadishu and bombing campaign against Yugoslavia, President Bill Clinton, Democrat

I will support victory over the evil ideology that has attacked our country, knocked down our skyscrapers and threatens our lives and freedom, no matter who is president. What's the use of having a fascist president if he's not going to execute terrorists?

Henry ...you are perfect...you don't want to fight for your country , you don't like ppl that complain about paying too much tax when some ppl are over taxed while others pay nothing, you don't understand free enterprise and don't understand we are a society based on the dream that one person if he works hard can achieve success. Success isn't getting handouts from the govt at the expense of others. People should be able to keep what they earn and not have the govt collect it and give it to others who are capable of working themselves. I like to help people but to a limit..as someone said previously with your philosophy you need to be in CUBA where they believe as you do ..because you don't understand America...you are a pure socialist based on your comments.

Some of the climate change denialists in this thread find it hypocritical that so many people "wasted gas" to travel to the beach for this event.

While other climate change denialists in this thread think the fact thatonly several hundred people traveled to the beach for this event indicates the event was "unsuccessful."

Too funny.

Perhaps you two schools of fools could fight it out?

If you aren't blind-sided by the Evolution denialists...

Climate change is a fraud and that's why Al GOre can't stand to debate anyone ..if he had all the evidence why won't he discuss it with anyone he refusues to debate the issue...and when challenged with any question he simply runs out of the room...he burns more fuel in one flight on his private jet then 10 of us driving our SUV's for the next 10 years ...can't he use commercial jets does he really need a private jet what a hypocrit ...and yes for you and a few friends to join hands at the beach was really special...I bet you held hands and sang too ...right ?
Pelosi another one she flys everyweekend back home to San Fran and retiun to Washington DC in her private Air Force jet again burning fuel why can't she take a commercial jet also ? another hypocrit ..and all the people on the pier they should all give up their cars ...you libs make us sick...

Are you too high to dispute the wars of the Democratic Party? Can you name any terrorist attacks from the groups you name above?

Western civilization faces an existential threat from Al Qaeda’s perversion of Islam, and innocent Muslims suffer the worst casualties. They call them Tafir, and then they kill. Children, women, the innocent are there targets. They love death as much as we love life.

Hank, don’t you care about the people in the skyscrapers they destroyed? Don’t you care about our troops fighting for our lives as we sit at home? Are you angrier at your political foes, than at the people who seek to take our freedoms?

CO2 350 = Y2K !!!!
What a hoax. Environmentalist activists have no clue that anthropogenic contributions to CO2 in the atmosphere are an extremely small percentage of the natural CO2 emitted daily. These enviro-nuts will get off the 350 horse soon and find some other cause they don't comprehend.
Besides, plants like CO2.

Sarah probably ranted and raved about the coming "ice age" and all of us freezing to death back in the 1970's when the whole "global cooling" thing was all the latest rage! LOL! HAAHAHAHAHAHAH! Some people will believe anything.

You seemed to either miss, ignore, or even purposely obfuscate the point of those posts, which is that if a large percentage of the small turnout of people at the event did use cars to get there then it is indeed hypocritical.

Global sea level rose about 17 centimeters (6.7 inches) in the last century. In the last decade, however, the rate of rise nearly doubled.

The Keeling Curve shows a pattern of steadily increasing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere since 1958.

Levels of Carbon Dioxide are higher today than at anytime in past 650,000 years.

Eleven of the last 12 years (1995-2006) are the warmest since accurate recordkeeping began in 1850.

The oceans have absorbed much of this increased heat, with the top 700 meters (about 2,300 feet) of ocean showing warming of 0.18 degrees Fahrenheit since 1955.

The Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets have shrunk in both area and mass. Data from JPLs Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment show Greenland lost 150 to 250 cubic kilometers (36 to 60 cubic miles) of ice per year between 2002 and 2006, while Antarctica lost about 152 cubic kilometers (36 cubic miles) of ice between 2002 and 2005.

That's amazing!

However, it seems the Climate Change Denialists and the Evolution Denialists are primarily composed of far-right extremist pseudo-Xtians. They say the Earth is only 7,000 years old.

Ship of Fools, indeed.

Denying ancient climate variation also denys evolution itself leaving this "death by SUV gas" part of the flat earth society mantra. There are tropical fossils under the polar ice and on all continents and to deny that and instead cling to "they say" despite 23 years of crying wolf with this dead CO2 theory and scaring my kids means history will not be kind to the doomers. Get ahead of the curve brother.
We as progressives and environmentalists have to stop demonizing, moralizing and lying to get people motivated for responsible environmentalism. Let's let the neocons do that crap.
The New Green: Preserve, Protect and Respect Nature, not save and rescue it from a failed threat of death by Nature's CO2 with needless fear and panic.
Pollution is real, the CO2 theory is not.

Warmists are much more intelligent than creationists, they believe the Earth's atmosphere is 650,000 years old.

Reaganomics? The "trickle down theory" is now ridiculed throughout the world and held responsible for the current lack of regulation of the Banksters.

Why would anyone want to bring up that criminal Reagan now? He was brain dead and half asleep while still in office. But he got his due in his final drooling years.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Libra

Don't put yourself through anything that isn't absolutely necessary, Libra. After all, why cook when others will gladly serve you at their house, or treat you to a wonderful meal at your favourite restaurant? Even when you assert yourself, there seems to be a wonderfully passive quality to your manner. Now that the universe has finally decided to give you some of what you want, make sure your wish list is short and don't be greedy.
