Nuclear fusion is the 'perfect energy source'

Mar 12, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: CNN

Will this fusion facility being built in southern France help solve our energy problems in the years ahead? Scientists like Steven Cowley, director of the UK's Culham Center for Fusion Energy, think that research at ITER could result in abundant, low-carbon energy in the future.

No it isn't. Besides it would take at least 30 years to penetrate by one percent the electricity market upon availability.

Oil is much more than energy, it's food, transportation, clothing, heating, cooling, fertilizers, pesticides, drugs, paint, plastics, etc etc etc.

Fusion will always be in the future and no combination of alternatives to cheap oil can replace it's decline.

Without cheap abundant oil, our population would only be about 1 billion thanks to land degradation and resource depletion.

Fusion will let us starve with the lights on, temporarily.
Oil will still be required to maintain the machines.

We are dumb as YEAST! And toast.

Hold on to that we thing. The only one that qualifies for that term would be spacedoutblues and the "pinheadlitesout".

If it were available, fusion physics would give only very low energy density at unsafe and highly radioactive manner. So fusion energy is the perfect energy 'nonesource' you could push for.
