Hi friends,
Global warming is the most serious problem to us in future. So in order to protect our Earth what should we do? And how to protect our Earth.
Please share your opinions.

Well first get the "pinheadliteout" to stop spewing its hot air. Second get the "spacedoutblues" to stop the cut and paste useless babble. Well you can figure out the rest of those who can't show their own work and count on the cut and paste useless babble method.

An Earth report:

Eleven of the 12 hottest years on record have occurred since 2001, according to data from the World Meteorological Organisation.

2013 is "likely to be warmer than 2012," the Met Office said in its annual forecast for the coming year.

Year 2011 is ranked the warmest on record, having been 0.54 degrees above the long-term average, while 2012 is ranked the ninth warmest, with a rise of 0.45 degree Celsius.

Above forecast is based on Met's own research as well as data from the University of East Anglia, the NASA Goddard Institute of Space Studies, and the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

2012 saw already several examples of extreme weather events, such as superstorm Sandy which hit the east coast of the United States in October. Parts of the United States also experienced their worst drought in more than half a century last summer.

Britain had been suffering a drought before a record wet spring and early summer.

Last month, a leaked draft report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change showed global average temperatures could be more than 2 degrees above average by 2100 and reach 4.8 degrees.

Low-lying island states and other countries vulnerable to rising sea levels, floods, and hurricanes have been putting pressure on developed countries to curb greenhouse gas emissions and keep the rise in temperatures to within a limit of 2 degrees this century.

Here are my top solutions

1. Increase fuel economy in new cars, encourage hybrids and electric vehicles.
2. Cut back on driving. increase use of mass transit, telecommuting, walking and biking.
3. Increase energy efficiency in existing and new buildings and appliances.
4. Decrease tropical deforestation to zero, and increase new tree plantings.
5. Improve "conservation tillage" techniques on cropland
6. Increase wind power, solar, natural gas, geothermal, and nuclear energy usage.
7. Eat less meat
