Can you point me to where the Prez claimed he was told by God to invade Iraq? Because I would be very disenchanted with him and everyone else who voted to send us there if it was true! You see, I have been there, done that. I can assure you that we, the U.S. and many countries around the world stated that there were WMD. However, since I suspect you are against the Prez and probably the effort our troops are trying to finish over there you are going to express yourself in this manner. I wouldn’t worry that much since you are not the one fighting over there. We know what we get into when we raise our right hand. War is a dirty thing and people die. I know I sound cold, but being an old dude retired from the armed forces I accept it. I do agree that the Iraqi government has to do more and when we leave sit back and keep a tap on it from going out of control. By the way, we had bases in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, so why would that surprise you?

Well, as I said months ago the Iraqi freedom fighters have aquired advanced "Missagh 2" missiles. The money came from Bremer who stupidly dolled out 12 billion in cash with no paper trail. They also seemed to have aquired a lot of USMC M40A3's judging from the effectiveness of their snipers. Its the beginning of the end folks. I trillion dollars later and for what? Georges mates got fat contracts and Israel got rid of a rival thats all.

Realist, you are a surrealist, your reason buggered by Bush. Maybe the Bush god has got to you too. Do you sometimes hear voices and they are not your wife nagging you for more money?
Americans should not be dying in Iraq because of policies of aggression originating from the White House or relayed to the pentagon from God or some idiot temporarily at the helm guiding the ship of state into an abyss, with hydro-cephalics like you cheering from you armchair.
Take an icepick to your brain and let some of the water out, or is it canned beer clogging your thought processes?

Blackhawk down !!
Pedantically it is Chinook down.
It is interesting that the US military is again in denial. viz Mechanical trouble by a RPG through the engine bay !!
Tactically this is very bad news. The military has been using helicopters to minimize casualties by IEDs. Each helicopter downned means more deaths than any IED hit.
The insurgents are giving the US Baghdad but blowing their air capabilities out of the sky.

To Bush, "god" means evil scumbags like Pat Robertson and James Dobson, i.e., the lobbyists for "god" who push war and hatred.

Bush won the war in Iraq already,,, He got Halliburton set in so that they can develope the oil no matter who comes out on top. Remember! The people who own the oil get 12 1/2%, the people who develope the oil get 87 1/2%. Sumpin' to smirk about, huh!

Al Maliki is right to say that time is running out for the Iraq and US troops operation against the Islamic terrorists that helps those who want to see US troops failure in Iraq, including the Islamic terrorists in Iraq as well as the Democrat senators and Nancy Pelosi’s liberals in the House.
The loss of 5 US Helicopters and the lives of US troops that died in their crash during less than a month without any effective response from US military is reason for concern. Is it again that girlish type impotent type of war of US troops against the Islamic terrorists with the hands of our US troops tied behind their back to make it looks politically correct?
Obviously any delay in the offensive of Iraqi troops with US troops support against the Islamic terrorists of al Qaida and the Shiite terrorists of the Mehdi Army will make it harder to win.
Any unjustifiable delay will allow the terrorists to re-arm with Russian made anti-aircraft missiles.
Any hesitation in the start of the offensive either in the Iraqi government or with US troops generals preparedness with give the US left wing liberals including Hillary Clinton, Pelosi and Murtha more time to act against US troops and cause demoralization for the American people as well as for our US troops who put their lives in harm way for US security.

Well said. The left wing liberals including Pelosi and Clinton already called it a failure for their own personal career interests like they did in Vietnam, trying to demoralize out brave US troops.
Obviously they are wrong because US troops will support Iraqi troops to defeat the Islamic terrorists and will come back home victoriously starting in 2007.

I'm pissed! Each and every American that dies in Iraq (and Iraqi) is all based on the policies of a man who said God told him to invade Iraq (that bush guy). How can he sleep at night?
I knew from day one that you couldn't 'win a war' or 'accomplish the mission' by invading and occupying a country that has thousands of years of history and hundreds of years of traditions, tribal loyalties and secular committments.
The ONLY hope we have is the young people of Iraq. When I hear stories from the troops about how the Iraqi children treat and greet them with respect, it softens my heart, but it doesn't do justice for the thousands of Americans and Iraqis killed and injuried for a failed policy based on lies.
What I really believe was that this was a way to set up base in the Middle East close to Iran. In fact, there is now evidence that the US may be instigating the Iranians into a war with us, with the assumption that the large population of disenchanted youth in Iran will rise up.
Stay tuned...

You are wrong. The oil-rich countries in the Persian Golf including Iran and Saudi Arabia make more money from the oil sales than US companies and they transfer many billions of dollars to Islamic terrorists all over the Middle East and Africa, and to nuclear WMDs against US and the western world.
