Jack says, "I don't think BLS cooked numbers. I think a bunch of Dems lied about getting jobs. That would have same effect," he tweeted. "Would love to see the partisan breakdown of the 873,000 Americans who say they got new jobs."

Jared Bernstein: September Jobs Report: First Impressions

Senior Fellow, Center on Budget and Policy Priorities

Payrolls grew by 114,000 last month and the unemployment rate ticked down significantly to 7.8 percent, according to today's jobs report from the BLS. That's the lowest unemployment rate since January of 2009. Moreover, unlike last month's report, September's decline in the unemployment rate was due to more job seekers finding work, not giving up and leaving the labor market. Both July and August's jobs numbers were revised up significantly such that in the third quarter of the year, payrolls grew by 146,000 per month on average, a notable acceleration over the second quarter's growth pace of only 67,000 jobs per month. All told, this report and the revisions paint a considerably better labor market picture than the last few reports. We're not yet out of the labor market woods, and I'd like to see us moving more quickly, but we're on the right path.

Obama pretended to be a total moron Wednesday at the debate to make Romney look good so he could look good in the next one. Yep. That's it. He really isn't half-witted at all. It was all part of a plan.

They have pulled it before. I would suspect the people in the Town Hall will have been pre selected and pre programed with questions that Obama has had time to study the answers to. Look for softball questions for Obama. Crowley is a hack and will assist Obama all she can.

We are sorry our president failed to protect you and properly honor your service and your memory by flying out to Vegas for a party after news of your horrendous deaths.
Your service and patriotism will be missed by all good Americans even though ignored by our heartless leaders.

Do you remember shortly after the Reagan-Carter debate we learned that the questions that were going to be asked were leaked to Carter before the debate? Carter was so lame he still lost!

Well at least Obama told those responsible for the planning and execution that he was sorry that the United States got them so upset. They may get over their being upset once that$450 million aid package arrives.

We as a nation have already taken time out to honor
the memories of the nearly 3000 who died at the WTC
while Bush was president and neglected to defend.
But, it bears repeating.
