Agree with the halt, because, we can stop selling our oil and use it for our own good, yet, those that have depended on our oil is going through the same pinches we are, but, they can also buy from those we are buying from at the same price we pay for. The oil is controlled revenue for the big guys that know we have this need for oil and will suck every dime from the poorest person to the top competitor till they get lead control of drilling rights where most people don't want them to drill. Stop and think what would happen if an offshore oil line breaks, the loose of fishing, more animals washing up on shores, etc. The effect of one creates effects of another. So! the peoples trust in our government is slowly loosing its confidence as America and democracy.

We could be independent of everyone were we to use our own oil. It is treasonous not to use it!

If the Democrats were serious, they would...

1) Put an end to all the environmentalist's lawsuits, and other legal barricades, that keep refineries from being built.

2) Stop hindering American companies from drilling in the Gulf and off Floridas coast - where China, Cuba & Mexico are already drilling.

3) Support the development of an area the size of a couple of airports in the frozen abyss called Anwar.

4) And get at least as serious about Hydrogen as Iceland is.

Then, in 10 years or less, we could be VERY independent.

But that doesn't fit the NWO blueprint. Interdependcy with America no stronger than any other country does...as does the breaking of our national sovereignty.

And you know what your talking about? History: Someone came over and shot a hole in the ground, and up came some bubbling brew, oil, that is, texas tea. You can't drink it of course, then some one comes along builds a pump, someone else finds a way to use it. Then someone else finds a way to refine it into gas and other uses. The oil fields then belongs to a family. That family in turns passes down to the next of kin or sells it to someone else. each time the prices goes up the stocks changes, making someone else richer. Then there comes along another oil field and sells cheaper, causing compatition and then another comes long and sells cheaper the the other 2. Then you got war.
