Here's something everyone needs to know about the "endangered" polar bear. It is not endangered! In fact, it's population has risen over the past 50 years from 8,000-10,000 to 22,000- 25,000. Would someone please explain to me how a species that is suppose to be threaten has actually increased in population. I guess the logic is that since the world may be getting hotter over the next century then the polar bear may be threaten. That would be like suing a car manufacturer over a future accident even though you have not been in one. First of all, McCain and Bush both say that global warming is real, so it is apparently not just liberal democrats. Second, why should we believe Steven Milloy and an editorial from Investors Business Daily? I am sure they have NOTHING to gain from polar bears not being on the threatened list. It's hard to get people to invest in drilling for oil in the Artic when the polar bear is on the threatened list. And even further, there is not one single source mentioned in the IBDeditorials article. Where do they get their information from??? Oh, I geuss they don't need to include facts, since it IS an editorial.

The earth is now cooling. All four agencies that track the earth's temperature(Hadley, NASA's GISS, UAH, RSS) reported that it dropped 0.7 c in 2007. This is the fastest change in the instrumental record.
