Why are your pervy little piggy eyes slithering all over that picture like a snail on a tomato plant, leaving snail trails?

Stop slobbering over gay photos and go beat off to your mom's old Burt Reynold's naked picture from Cosmo. Unless her "goo" glued it shut.

And stop lying little cowardly liar.

I support boycotts but I don't see a lot of meaning behind this one. I doubt stolichnaya has much clout with the russian government, so who are we really hurting besides people who have no say in their government's policies?

We boycotted coors because they were openly homophobic; stoli has not been.
that's pretty much my thinking: what is this going to do? It might put a dent in the economy, but even if it does, how much of that is the government going to feel?

Yeah, every time you ho:mos boycott something, the owners really prosper. Keep up the good work.
Yeah, you know...... pretty much like when the right wingers and evangelicals scream we should boycott Disney. That worked just fine, didn't it?

another interesting article to read is
The Terrible, Bad, No-Good Plan to Boycott Stoli Vodka over Russia’s Vile Treatment of Gays
http://reason.com/blog/2013/07/26/the-terribl...
in the article it claims:
The Stoli we drink here in the states is not made in Russia. It’s actually made in Latvia. It is actually a different vodka from what is sold within Russia. Russia seized the internal brands and re nationalized them back in 2001. There is a big, nasty battle between Russia and the private Stolichnaya company and its owner, Yuri Scheffler.
Great articles. Now I am sure that if Stoli REALLY wanted to make an impact politically in Russia, they could.

Now,let's see if they do. This may become the new Krugerrand type boycott and look what happened in S. Africa!

I don't know how much power he has within Russia, seeing that he is wanted there.. So was thinking what if he doped the price a little, but then other countries might raise import fees and the bottle shops might sell it for the same price, so that's probably not a option. I am sure he does have some influence somewhere...

Yes, he needs to jump in and do something quick. It not like 10% of the population will stop drinking vodka, rather they would swap to a different brand.

and that raises the question, what is their stance on LGBT issues?

Funny, I've NEVER heard about any boycott on Disney. Shows how delusional you Queers are. I have, on the other hand, heard about a nationwide boycott on Chick-fil-A. That worked out really well, didn't it?? Roflmao
you can't go by immediate effects. they have lost over 10% of their past customers and in short time , their new found support will fade back into their old routine. There will be an financial impact over time.

Well, you haven't been keeping up with the news.

The Southern Baptists took out an 8 year boycott of Disney due to their shocking support of gay employees and for their holding a once a year gay day at Disney parks. It went from 1997 to 2005, till they threw in the towel and called their boycott off, with dire warnings of "you better watch it in the future!"

Disney replied that they NEVER changed one thing in order to appease the Baptists and if anything, were MORE supportive of gay employees and causes. I think the Baptists just lost interest. So much for boycotts.

To be honest, if Disney fired all the gays, they would have to shut down tomorrow.

Highly creative show biz types=gays. Always has been; always will be.

I would NOT go to Chick-Felate if they were the most liberal in town and gay supportive, blah blah blah. It is just TOO white bread for my tastes.

The disney boycott is part of the AFA AFC NARTH One Million Moms etc. political agenda. Gays aren't boycotting Disney BUTTPLUG.

As for Chik-Fil-A they are hurting. If they weren't explain why they are using all sorts of promotions to get people to eat there.

Or look at how well the respective companies stocks have fared over the last 6 years!

It appears Stoli is scrambling to get this behind them. They have launched a world wide campaign to show they support GLBT people. And ABC has now said they will not ignore Pitins anti gay crusade. I expect many other news agencies to do the same. This very well could be Putin's "apartheid" debacle similar to what happened in S. Africa. I sure hope so.

I think this made a big impact already. The anti gay religionists know they took a big hit with SCOTUS. They are doing all they can to revise their strategy, but they are still basing that strategy on the idea that they have the clout they claim they have.

When people start shoving Matt. 25:31-465 in their faces they fal back on the same tired "twisting scripture" the devil is your father" bs.

I don't know about you but even offering Papal Indulgences via twitter won't get them around the Final Judgement!

Interesting that Stolichnaya has such a cache because all that "vodka stolichnaya" means is "table vodka" - from the Slavic word for "table": "stol."

Dopey Americans are suckers for anything foreign sounding. Like Haagen Dazs Ice cream all with little dots over the first A of Haagen seems like it is straight out of the great north, but in fact is fake foreign. It was started in BROOKLYN, but has a Danish name for panache. Bain di Soleli sunscreen is NOT from Sant Tropez, but from the Coppertone company. Same thing.

Maybe so, couldn't have been to much of a nationwide call since I never heard about it. As for gays being the show biz type, you Queers are funny creatures, I'll give you that. And as for Chick-fil-A, your loss, no one else's. I like white bread and their chicken, apparently a large part of the nation does.
Oh, come the hell on. It was quite big news in the later 90's and till 2005, it was on the news constantly.

And you said you have not heard of any anti gay boycotts, heard of a little group called the Million Mooks who are here in Topix like every week or so? They are boycotting up a storm, taking credit for getting rid of shows that had abysmal ratings before they came along, but hey, take credit even if it is not due. They think they got NBC to dump "The New Normal" due to it being gay. It was just stupid and boring and lame. I was just as glad to see it go myself.

All that white bread goes straight to sugar and causes quick weight gain, especially in middle age men, it hits their bellies. If you want to show off your six pack to make JuanPaul jealous, you gotta knock off all those flour products.

Gay bars all over the country boycotted Coors. Eventually Miller's bought Coors. Millers is very friendly to the gay community. Now, I don't know how much effect our boycott had on the situation, but in the end it became more gay-friendly. That's all we wanted, and what we got.

Recall the orange juice boycott after Anita Bryant also. I just reviewed it and found out some stuff I didn't know. At first the orange juice growers kept her, but within two years, they quietly dumped her due to too much negative publicity. Her career and marriage ended and she has been a struggling nobody ever since. I guess Jesus was NOT grateful for her sacrifices and turned His back on her afterwards.

Don't mess with a GAY, honey.

It was no worry for me. Coors is TERRIBLE and I was glad to give it the heave ho.

Side note, my 21st birthday was on a Saturday and I went into a liquor store and bought ONE tiny can of Coors just because I could. I was upset no one asked for my ID that day. I never drank it and it was in the back of my mother's cupboard for like 25 years till she passed away.
