If we win in court, it's the fault of ACTIVIST JUDGES!!!
If we win by the legislators, then anti-gay folks go out and sue for various reasons!!!
And now that we have WON at the ballot box......these idiots are crying foul by making comments like "it wasn't clear enough" or "we out raised them"......but all that is is MORE FRUCKING EXCUSES!!!
I guess we could look at the win regarding Prop 8 was NARROWLY PASSED,right?
The bottom line is that sentiments towards Gays and Lesbians getting married ARE changing.......the fact that the ant-gay bigots don't like losing is no one's fault but their own!!!
Just goes to show the sheer hypocrisy of social conservatives. Don't try to rationalize it. If it quacks like a duck, it's a duck.

Oh,so you're having trouble sitting down today? Is that what you're trying to say LOSER? Maybe you should have nominated Colin Powell instead of numb nuts and your party might have been in the White house today! You know,a sensible truly moderate honest type of human being whose mind isn't clouded by bigotry!

If you think they are sore losers, can you even begin to imagine the gloating they would be doing today if their guys had WON? A lot of them were already gloating last week, promising how they would laugh and point and make fun, how the liberal party is OVER.
I note they are as quiet as the grave today, unless they ARE in their graves. I hadn't heard of any mass suicides, but I haven't checked all the news sources yet!
Yeah..........

They're pretty much like liberals when the shoe is on the other foot.

It's quite funny to see their numbers shrinking, especially after 2004/2006 when the republicunts were talking about eliminating the dumbocrats, becoming a one-party state.
In the 1980s in Canada, the Liberal party had held power for a long time, then badly lost a federal election due to corruption and scandals. They dropped from over 140 seats out of 307 in Canada's parliament down to 40, and the Progressive Conservatives (aka Tories) exploded to more than 200 seats in that same parliamentary session. There were three major political parties at the time, those two and the socialist NDP.
Eight years later, however, the Tories' rampant corruption was even worse than the Liberals', and they fell from over 200 seats to 2 - TWO seats, ONE PLUS ONE. That failure (combined with digust for the Liberals) led to the rise of two more political parties (the far right Reform/Alliance and the seperatist Parti Quebecois), five parties in all with major chunks of the parliament. The two right wing parties have since merged and the PQ have shrunk, but the political landscape has changed dramatically over the last 25 years because people got sick of a (mostly) two party system. The NDP, usually the minor player and sometimes Liberal coalition partner, got over 100 seats in the 2011 election.
If the US is lucky, that's what will happen: the US will wind up with multiple parties in regional blocs. Real democracies have at least three major parties and often have minority and coalition governments. Bribery becomes much harder when parties have to worry about being stabbed in the back by other parties, when they have to listen to voters in order to stay in power.
This is just my opinion on the thought, but for a 3rd party to become relevant, they need to do more than run for President.

1) A relevant 3rd party holds office at all levels of government: city, county (where applicable), state and federal.

2) They have a track record of a political ideology that separates them from the other parties sufficiently to stand out as a unique political entity.

3)They have a period of time over which they have grown to be recognizable to a reasonable enough portion of the populace that they can compete on equal level with the other "major" parties.

Until we have this, I don't see how any 3rd party will be relevant.

America will survive. Cuba survived the same transition into tax slavery to big brother and so will we.

This election Americans proved that Americans citizenship has no value. Like standards. manners, and morals, they are passe now. Pelosi's Brave New World will be a very nasty place and hate speak will continue to be the "progressive" bill of fare.

Well said. Happily for the reasonable people, Neo-cons will all be leaving the planet on December 21st. Jack Van Impe has been strongly hinting that it will be the end of days, so him and all the rest will be floating up into the sky on that date.

The Republican party has one choice with 2 options:
1) Evolve the party to work with the changing demographics of our country, and becomre more progressive and inclusive of the groups it has shunned for so long.
2) Die.
There aren't any other options, and this election has served to highlight that the Republican party really only makes sense to older white men. That's the only group of which the majority voted Republican. All other groups had a majority voting Democrat.
There is a third option in that they plan to go after the Latino population. What do you think Noticias MundoFox is for?

Ain't a BITCH for you? If you are so sad, possibly you can pack up and move out of the country, somewhere where people take their religion and values SERIOUSLY,not allowing disparate points of view from the masses....like Iran. You'd fit right in with them.

Much of the southern GOP is unified and based on hate , they will never change.

When Bush beat Gore it was by a handfull of votes and you did not hear talk of secession or revolution yet now look at the republicans , especially in the south.

If they could actually prevent people from voting they would. Like children they throw tantrums when they lose.

Even some republicans from my home state of NY are a disgrace . I used to vote both parties but left the GOP about 4 years ago.
