Mr. DiNapoli must have something or somebody hidden in a closet, wearing a leather thong and holding a big jar of lube. Keep the government out of EVERYONE'S life.

He's only got the one pathetic little schtick and not embarrassed at continuously waving at everybody who will bother to pay attention to it. The only reason the sweet child is still posting here is because he is outsmarting the Topix minions, but that really doesn't take a whole lot.

NY has their law. And the people really did not have any say. Cuomo and NY Politicians decided for us. Now they want the Feds to decide for all 50 states? When did we, the people, lose our rights on big decisions? When did our votes suddenly mean nothing?

Those politicians you're whining about, folk you elected to represent you in making most of those "big decisions". The US is not a democracy where every issue must be decided by a vote of the electorate, it is a representative republic and we elect politicians to take care of the business of the state. Don't they teach Civics any more? The federal government is now legally required to recognize same sex marriages, regardless of where these couples live. The president and Congress cannot force states to recognize these marriages, but the Constitution however, that's another matter entirely.
