Big deal. Nature too discriminates against gays. Just look at all the diseases they get ……… and spread to each other!

How many diseases are listed in the "Merck Manual" ?

In the likely event you don't know what that is ...

The world was always a great big hospital due to venereal diseases transmitted mostly by heterosexuals ( by the tens of millions every year ) ; and no degree of your twisted wishful thinking can change that that .

That describes pretty much the entire civilized world from your viewpoint, Jethro.

You have few civilized places you can go now. Tee hee.

That's strange. It was SCOTUS, the highest count in the land, which decreed that the BSA have a Constitutional right to exclusive membership, and doing so does NOT constitute discrimination.

Of any population you can think of lesbians have the fewest STDs and the lowest risk for them.

And of course AIDS worldwide is overwhelmingly an affliction of heterosexuals.

So much for the closet cases' "logic." I know, I was a closet case until I recently came out.

In as few as 7 posts, the homosexuals have diverted the discussion from California judges being bared from the BSA, to talking about AIDS. Freud documented that the homosexual mind is discumbotulated.

Your closet needs more fabulous lighting so you could read the first, homophobic post which made ignorant claims about diseases. Then you could troll better, Cletus.

Based on all the raping of violent women I think the bigot Boy Scouts should bar heterosexual men from being Scout leaders.

There are no "gay" diseases. Gay people suffer from the same diseases as straight people. HIV and venereal diseases affect all.

You digress. You still cannot provide justification for California to disregard a valid decree from SCOTUS that the BSA policy that excluded gays was not discrimanatory.
Gays and liberals seem to think that they can pick and choose which laws they are going to abide by.

We have an arrogant POTUS that abuses Executive Powers.
We have Federal Judges that rule in contradiction to the will of the people.
We have elected representatives voting with their "conscience" instead of with their electorate.
We have State Attorney Generals refusing to uphold valid laws.
We have lowly court clerks doing their own thing.

What we have is a society whose system of government is at risk as a result of the destructive effects of the slippery slope of the homosexual agenda.

Hey closet case, no one need prove any such thing. The corporate supporters of the bigot Boy Scouts starting blacklisting the bigoted organization. The bigot Boy Scouts then made a partial concession - supposedly allowing openly gay Scouts. CA's judiciary is apparently taking it upon itself to consider barring its judges from functioning as bigot Boy Scout leaders.

I think we all know that the bigot Boy Scouts _may_ still have whatever ban they want (if they only didn't get any government support of any kind, which they do.) It's just the bigot Boy Scouts can no longer afford their bigoted ban(s).

Homophobes as a cohort are undereducated...and older and more uber religious. They're trash.

Hey closet case, Dale has nothing to do with what is under discussion - whether CA will decide if its judges may be bigot Scout leaders.(Not that you know what I'm talking about or could reason out what I'm saying.)

And Dale needn't be over ruled. What needs to happen is that no government funding or in kind support be extended to the bigot Scouts until they do what corporations and educated people want them to and ditch the bigotry. Like the Girl Scouts did years ago.

A couple of days ago I was listening to an interview of Ringo Starr on NPR's "Fresh Air". During that program he was reminiscing about his childhood in Liverpool. One formative event in his life was contracting Tuberculosis. He mentioned that every street had 5 or 6 people dying of Tuberculosis, and that the discovery of the mycin-based antibiotics brought that to a halt.

Gay people are susceptible to every disease you are.

That's true. As a gay man I am against this proposal.

The State should not have the power to dictate what groups any adult may freely join.

This idea is ridiculous. What legal activity a judge does when not on the clock is their own business.

Have you asked many real life gay people, or "liberals" for that matter if they personally agree with this silly proposal? No one I know does, regardless of their views on the Boy Scouts.

Rabid liberals behind this attempt to control the scouts view of life are just as mentally diseased as the ultra conservatives who do the same.
Who the hell are these people and who represents them?
Sex education or glbt opinions have no place in the scouts. Moral code is what the leaders must adhere to themselves, regardless of sexual orientation or opinions. Leadership behavior is pretty clear cut.
Scouting is supposed to be fun while building character. And it was, and at no time was bigotry of any kind mentioned in the scout handbook. It's time the bigots REREAD what Boy AND Girl Scouting is about.
Three finger up salute to the former scouts or leaders like me, posting here.

One more thing. Scouting never had a gay law until this generation. WHO saw fit to rewrite that? And is it even constitutional considering so many states and the fed recognizing Gay marriage?
