Since there was no DADT during World War II, is he therefore saying that our U.S. military forces then were "effeminate and unfit for combat" ?

Wow. Just knowing that some other soldier is gay is enough to make straight men act like "girlie" women?

Don't straight men find such comments insulting?
And there are female soldiers who could take this clown down in a heartbeat.

I hope this news gets around and he ends up in the same place as a group of men and women from ANY of the services. But Marines would be best.

We need to find some way to get this story into Stars & Stripes.

And the US military having to reach into the dregs of society for recruits has kept them fit for combat? Would you rather have an effeminate soldier who can fight well or a masculine one who is too stupid to understand instructions?

And on that subject, the US economy is improving, so that means less people will be interested in the military as being the ONLY option for them. It has better wake up and smell the coffee, as Ann Landers used to say. Now that is lets GLBT's in, it needs to make sure it is attractive as a career to everyone.

I think strong women would be best, but I am a tiny bit biased.

I think he's just pissed that we finally decided to not destroy other countries for profit.

Good ol' Monty Python. What a great video! Unfortunately, when gays are in the military that's what happens.
