MD Pro-Marriage Equality Group Warns Media About NOM's Dirty Tricks

Marylanders for Marriage Equality are highlighting the fact that several anti-LGBT groups often engage in racist and sexist behaviors in order to try and garner more support from minority groups for their causes.

I like this; we need to be pro-active in combating what we KNOW is coming.

Haven't seen any polling out of Maryland recently, but the latest poll from Washington is very encouraging. Of course things looked good in California about this time in '08 as well, and we all know what happened there once the anti-gays unleashed their usual pack of lies.

We can't stop them, but we CERTAINLY can do a better job of getting our message out there and directly countering their ads.

In fact, I know there is. The sole problem, in ice-cold mathematical terms, is that more people believe the efforts would not do appreciable good than believe they would do appreciable good.

Best of luck, Maryland. The antigay only need to say *one thing* and everyone panics and runs for the hills and turns viciously against gay rights. It's sad. Quite sad.

NOM should not only be labeled a hate group, it should be banned from lobbying and shunned the way we do the KKK, considering their own website contains some language identical to the KKK.

I agree with this post! Homosexual is a lifestyle they selected. Gays suffer from mental dysfunction because most gays are quick to manipulate their genitals. This isn't normal.

Now they have convinced our govt in some perverted states that they qualify as parents. How two men qualify as a mommy and a daddy is beyond me other than to believe that these people really are out to destroy us through homosexuality and hiv.

They have no right to raise children since they disregarded the natural function of their own body to have children to begin with. Abrogates! They hate themselves and there own chosen pecking order within a family so they have to go and patch one together on their own at the expense of a society that should at least try to be morally sound.
