4 it's not an issue of Government business in our bedrooms, that can go on all day and night if gay folks choose, just keep it in the bedroom like all people should, your sexual preference does not define who you are, marriage is a man and a woman period. |

2 You have at least one legitimate, unbiased source for this information? How does two same-sex people loving each other impact your life in any way? Please do tell how this could possibly have anything to do with you. Oh and remember, gays pay taxes just like you, presumably, do. |

4 What a dispicable comparison. Murder destroys families, hurts people, causes irreparable damage. As does rape and adultery. Two consenting adults loving each other in a committed relationship hurts no one. Not even on the same planet. Absolutely dispicable comparison. For shame. |

4 Marriage is a religious ceremony in which two people join together with God's blessing. Marriage began with religion and that's the whole point of it. Two people don't have to be legally married to dedicate their lives to each other. It's the idea of uniting under the Lord that defines Marriage, that's why the call it Holy Matrimony. And it is very clear in the Bible that homosexuality is declared wrong and evil. So why do homosexual couples want to unite in a religious ceremony when religion is a big part of people's fight against them? It's like wanting something just to have it and not knowing why you want it. It makes no sense to me. I'm not homophobic, and have many homosexual friends that I'm very fond of. But it makes no sense why they're fighting to be a part of something that people use as a reason to ridicule them. So no, I do not support it. Marriage is for heterosexuals uniting under God, and that's it. I'm not judging, but to oppose something in the Bible and choose that as a lifestyle is to not beleive in it, and why fight to be a part of something that you don't believe in? |

2 same-sex people who have made that commitment with each other have less rights when issues arise with death or hardship than "legal married" couples...it's not about marriage under God...it's about equal rights and having a sense of security with your loved one... |

2 Then why do county governments issue out little paper certificates that declare a couple legally wed? Oh and fyi, marriage began as a business contract between a man and his father-in-law-to-be. It had nothing to do with love or with the woman at all. Read the Bible sometime before using it to justify you opinions. |
