I do believe she is being singled out because of her sexual orientation.

I do believe she's being singled out because she broke the law. An 18 year old, AN ADULT, should NOT be having sex with a 14 year old. Period.

And the sexual orientations of those involved has nothing to do with it.

Having sex in there school bathroom is reason enough for being expelled.

I agree with that. If these 2 people were male, this whole thing wouldn't even be a controversy.

Picture this headline: "250 Pound Adult Member Of High School Football Team Sexually Assaults Freshman"

Would we even be having this discussion ???

You're right, it is. It is being singled out because of her sexual orientation by HER FAMILY AND ATTORNEY, and no one else. They are muddying the waters and twisting this into a media sensational "anti GLBT" CIRCUS in attempt to save her skin. This case is doing more to destroy GLBT rights progress than anything the far right could ever have dreamt up.

If they used this case in order to judge all gay people then the American people are quite shallow and stereotyping.
