I expect a few more surprises like we saw in Utah, including the first state constitutional ban being overturned by popular vote in Oregon- assuming the courts don't act first.

A big campaign linking Marriage Equality with HIV in the minds and feeling of the undecideds.
A major Republican resurgence, partly through rebranding themselves. This will be done by taking control of the narrative of liberal groups' issues, which groups will begin to appear shrill and extreme to a weary electorate. Agent provocateurs, moles, dirty tricks, ratfucking, etc.. will be on the rise to make liberals appear shrieking and smug and eccentric, but a Good ole Ronnie Reagan style of campaigning will stroll in to calm their fears. Mom. Apple Pie. The Good Old Hallmark Days That Never Really Were for the adults, but only in the pampered minds of clueless little tykes playing with the hose, puppy, and butterflies in the yard. " ... teachers to tickle their ears ... " With a little horror movie thrown in one the side for those who love that sort of thing. Ever notice that the monsters are always so stupid that any couple of brainless teenagers can defeat them; and if only they just (heterosexually) love each other enough, yes you too can be a hero and mate with someone stupid enough to think you're smart. Boiz n Gyrls! Celebrate when the war is OVER, not just because we've won a few comparatively easy battles. It's ALL about taking-on cornered beasts now, and a change of wardrobe isn't going to cut it ... for us. But it will ... for THEM. |

You can expect homosexuals to keep demanding more, taking more and imposing more and more of their sickness on society and you can expect society to keep bending over and taking it.

The issue of a "religious right" to discriminate will be the big one, I think, even bigger than the possibility of ENDA. It is already in the fore in the contexts of the health insurance mandate for employers to provide birth control coverage (even indirectly, at no cost to the "religious" employer,) and in the various glbt rights ordinances forbidding businesses from discriminating.
Interestingly in this matter, Dale was never over ruled. The bigot Boy Scouts (sort of) retreated from their bigotry due to corporate pressure. |

I forgot "more and more agonized homosexual imagery from homophobes with massive closet issues." |

We can expect the anti gays to continue to lie and misrepresent nearly anything they can in order to force their lifestyle onto everyone else. The grasping at straws by their clueless minions will continue and when the storm they create hits, they will blame the gays and lesbians for it. They will continue to claim victories where none occurred. They will continue to insist we are a Christian Nation and dress bigotry as religious freedom. They will continue to whine about activist judges while they spend millions of taxpayer dollars shopping for one that will support them. They will continue to make fools of themselves and then claim they are victims. |

I also forgot to address the schizophrenic nature of Puritanical Calvinism. Thanks for catching my mistake. |
