He should just change denominations to a denomination that is accepting and allows gay marriages in the church such as ELCA or UCC.

I agree with you. If he disagrees with Christianity, he should affiliate with one of the non-Christian cults you mention.

Defrocked? He's lucky to be getting off so easily for a crime of this magnitude. If Pat Robertson were prosecuting the case, he'd be calling for Schaefer's hanging, citing legal precedent from 1692 Salem, Mass.

Why should we stop? Robertson is a hate filled person who tries to make everyone believe the same as he does. He defintely is not Christian but he fools some of the people into believing he is, those that are too lazy to read all the Bible themselves and use common sense. I am ashamed to be a Methodist but I won't be for long, I have had enough hate from so called religious people that I can take in one life time. I can only hope that the minister and his son finds a church that is accepting of all people and leaves the true judging to God not the people of the church who thinks they are GOD. There are such churches and they are not CULTS! All you hate filled mongers will have your day come and its sooner than you think.

Robertson could pick up cable TV with his big ears. He's a senile old fart and a bigot.

He was expressing his disgust with Pat Robertson; he was hardly soliciting homicide. The comment obviously wasn't meant to be taken literally. And even if it were, it would actually mean Pat Robertson should be well-endowed. Someone put to death by hanging is hanged, not hung.

We must always be better than our opponents in this fight.

That statement alone provides sufficient grounds for an enhance security detail for a public figure, and provides propaganda fodder against us.

It is calling for the hanging of someone who holds a different opinion. This is not the American way. It is, as such, a call for a lynching.

Responsibly censor yourself.

PROVE how wrong he is in his fears of us. Don't feed into them.
