I gave up the last 20 minutes, Downton Abbey was on and Mr Bates is getting out of prison.

Not a good argument for democracy, is it ?
:)
Thankfully the founding fathers of the US thought so as well. That is why in the US only the leaders at the lowest level of government are democratically voted on by the masses.

Actually, U.S. Senators were not popularly elected until the early 20th century. I tink taht the U.S. Constitutional amendment providing for popular election of U.S. Senators, was a mistake and should be repealed.

Are you a woman or a man?
Why does that matter to you? Are you a dolphin attached to cybernetic implants allowing you to communicate through the internet? Same implications. If that matters to you then you are a complete and total waste of human flesh.

Ah, yes, my memory of US history is a bit fuzzy so I do forget some of the details. Thank you for the clarification on that.

Also, I do kind of agree with your point at the end.

As if we don't already know that they're ignorant of their own religion and the world they *actually* live in, why do they have to make it even MORE obvious by claiming that without their Bible, we wouldn't have a sense of morality??
Really?? Without the Christian Bible, we would be too stupid to figure out all on our own that murder, theft, adultery, jealousy, etc. are all bad ideas?? Bad plans?? Self-destructive?? In other words, morally wrong?
I never ceases to amaze me the lengths people will go to to NOT think about reality.
Two people of the same sex conceiving a child has nothing to do with reality.

Hey Sweetie.....I'm glad the 49er's lost......I'm not a fan.......yuck!!!
I was hoping that the Ravens weren't going to give up and give the game away........and they almost did!!!
As games go it was very close and exciting. I didn't like the way the Ravens began diddling around in the last two minutes to force the clock to run out, however. They were doing everything short of pulling out knitting or magazines and plopping down in beach chairs.

First of all its not the Christians who are complaining
.
Its those moronic evangelical fundamentalists for whom gay people's business is none of their business
.
The crux of the news article is the same-O same-O irrational BS where the fundie soaring morons think gay people will be the end of evangelical fundamentalism
.
Well; let me drop a little hint:
.
If evangelical fundamentalists don't shutup and mind their own business starting right now this minute:
.
This will be the end of them forevermore. We 'will' put them out of business!
.
Without even trying; and it will be their own fault because they don't know when enough is enough
