Feb 4, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Daily Herald

Homosexual "marriage" should continue to be prohibited and civil unions also must be repealed.

Christians are doing a good job of turning people away from christianity all by themselves.

Wow, they must be desperate. But alas, it's not gay marriage that's pushing people from their delusion, it's that their delusion is being exposed on a regular basis now.

Exactly.......and they don't understand that they are not being persecuted for their beliefs, but for how they treat others and expect everyone to believe as they do!!!

I was reading the post where it was originally posted someone commented that this argument was once used for interracial marriage that it would bring down society and scripture said that the mixing of races was sinfulů.WoW ! People are gong to realize that Christianity is destructive force in society it's bad for body and soul and mind. We shouldn't make laws around it..we don't need it, we can make moral judgements and laws without Christian based rules.

Sort of ironic that The Daily Herald publishes Karen Witt's opinion in which she writes, "Our very freedom to believe and share the truths in God's word is being bullied into silence."

Good thing there is Freedom of the Press, right Karen?

And it's a good thing that there is the Establishment Clause.

What I find offensive as well is the presumption of the anti-gay that all Christians disapprove of LGBT equality. Anti-gay Christians might be vocal but they definitely do not represent those Christians who are working to legalize same-sex marriage along with all the other legal rights which are currently denied to LGBT people.

And there are lots of pro-LGBT Christians out there -- that's why we keep winning! For instance, in Canada the largest protestant denomination, the United Church of Canada, helped to bring about legal same-sex marriage a decade ago when the debate was finally decided there.

Morning, precious! Sorry the 49ers didn't win yesterday! That was some game. If it kept ME enthralled, it must have driven hetero guys nuts.

Hmmm...are you sure you're a NorCal native? I wish the 49ers had won, but at least the absence of street noise let me sleep last night.

Oh and I'm also not a Giants fan......I'm a Dodger fan:-)

I still root for the A's in the American League:-)

As if we don't already know that they're ignorant of their own religion and the world they *actually* live in, why do they have to make it even MORE obvious by claiming that without their Bible, we wouldn't have a sense of morality??

Really?? Without the Christian Bible, we would be too stupid to figure out all on our own that murder, theft, adultery, jealousy, etc. are all bad ideas?? Bad plans?? Self-destructive?? In other words, morally wrong?

I never ceases to amaze me the lengths people will go to to NOT think about reality.

The topic reads to stamp out Christianity.
Does the same title apply for Muslims?

So many other 'important' issues enveloping society and so little time. The grand distraction to all that is wrong in America. The fed, big govt, taxation without representation, war in Africa, no boots on the ground in Libya.
So much for the cowardice left of no WMD.

Not a good argument for democracy, is it ?
