That is a complete falsehood and outright lie. The unintended costs and public health risk are far greater over time. Besides, marriage should never be based on finance. Ever!

This President by far has generated more poverty for at least another generation. All one has to do is observe the liberally run states and cities and what conditions they are in. He had plenty of chances to reign in the federal reserve bank but showed no cojones whatsoever. Because he has none!
Liberalism itself, is a degenerative concept and has nothing to do with equality at all. It is corrosive.

Nor should marriage, or reasons to prevent marriage, be based on ignorance, bigotry, lies, and outright distortions.

I agree, it's false. The story says Utah's gay couples. Their money is already there. If they don't spend it on weddings they will spend it on something else. The story is total BS.

when a couple goes to Hawaii to marry and vacation and it benefits Utah I will vote in favor of gay marriage. You can't make this stuff up!

Nor should the preposterous concept of SS parenting between two 'Heterosexual men'. That is true ignorance, bigotry, lies, outright distortion, a cult of zealotry. Save the religious bashing for someone else because without it, you'd would still be demonstrably wrong.

We don't need your vote in favor. We need you to die off from the population.

And we'll have fun verbally abusing you here while that transpires.

It's hard to know about arguments like that headline makes.

I guess the main idea is that homegrown, same sex couples in UT will flee to have a legal same sex marriage somewhere else, somewhere better educated, and thus remove potential economic activity from the mormon whatever it is state.

The theory being if the mormon whatever it is state permitted same sex marriage that these couples would remain in the mormon whatever it is state for their marriage and associated baptisms of dead wedding gifts by proxy...or however they consummate marriage in that hellhole.

I tend to think the same sex couples will try to escape regardless....

But for the sexually sick trolls: More marriages = more economic activity. Marriages entail a lot of expenses.

So pointing out ignorance, bigotry, lies, and outright dishonesty is "religious bashing?" Don't worry, no matter what you say same sex marriage is coming to your neighborhood.... sooner rather than later! Deal with it!!

Don't count on it. There are a significant number of closeted gays in Utah.

Yes, impinging on or challenging homophobic bigotry is "Christian bashing," for sure. Being a Christian in the US means being able to discriminate against anyone you want to...like Jesus said.

Never mind that a majority of Christians in the West favor even marriage equality, let alone the less contentious aspects of equal rights.

What does that have to do with whether they have their marriages there or not when UT legalizes same sex marriages?

I'm saying I think they'd like to go elsewhere for a marriage celebration and honeymoon, regardless, and thus the headline claim is suspect.

I mean, same sex couples from _outside_ UT would go there for their weddings when UT gets around to legalizing it? I don't think so.

So where is UT getting this marriage related economic benefit? Everyone will want to stay or go somewhere else, imo....

Hey dumb pos, pro lgbt people are taking over demographically. You missed the point, stupid.

By the way, my "hate" won't be in full flower until I get laws saying homophobes can't marry, adopt, serve openly, be protected from arbitrary firing, etc., or until we all start beating them up on the streets.

You are one dumb, dying, lying religionist.
