I wonder what would have happened if I walked in there wearing an anti-gay shirt?? The gay community would be up in arms about it being offensive...Nobody cares that she was an african american(of course she had to point that out)woman...The ACLU is a piece of crap organization!!!

Unbelievable. Are there really people still out there that are that intolerant? What did that t-shirt do to him? He should be fired, period. I hope she does sue, and wins!

The mother and daughter sound like they are in the habit of being provacative, from the way the mother, "a gay right activist" just moved here from Chicago, was only too happy to urge her daughter to stay right there while she rushed over to get attention.

A typical mother would have been too busy to worry about it, or just said to get the guard's name and a witness and follow up -- but this pair seems like they're agitating to file a lawsuit and just hit it lucky with some low-paid security guard not briefed on PC issues.

Let me get this straight: An American is denied her right to freedom of speech but in that very same social security office, there are probably thousands if not hundreds of thousands of cases (over time) where illegals get regular benefits. Am I missing something here?

Sounds like a scam to me - I wonder if the LAPD is investigating whether these two know each other...

Prehaps this whole situation was staged. She calls her mother, and she waits for media attention? Now lawsuit. The Guard did not have clear understanding to what the rules say, but does this really warrants a lawsuit? I think not.

Is a lawsuit REALLY necessary.
The guard was personally offended by her shirt. He should have kept it to himself. He didn't. An apology should do.
FYI... The ACLU does many good things for this entire country. Which includes some things that we don't like. They guard our basic rights like a pit bull. I'm OK with that. They keep the power crazy corporations and politicians from completely running over us.

I'm going out right now and making an anti-lesbian t-shirt. If she can advertise that she's weird, then I can advertise that I feel like the majority.

Mike -
It's not about money, it's about human rights. And I know you want to know....I am not black or gay.

You can wear your anti gay shirt anywhere you want. Who cares about a damn shirt. And if a gay security guard told you you had to leave the building, what would you do?

I support the security guard, and the removal of the "woman". That's what she should get. She doesn't and shouldn't have any rights. We don't want those kinds of people around, or advertising that they are weird by being gay. We will show in Nov. that we only want a man and a woman in marriage. That's the ONLY way God wants it to be. So, let tell all these "people" to go hide in the closet.
"She doesn't and shouldn't have any rights." She DOES have the same rights as you. I demand that you remove all religious articles that are in my view. That statement is equally as stupid as yours.

Another example of your rights being sacrificed for "safety". Homeland Security is the new "SS".
How is ANY t-shirt a danger to anyone???
(except maybe the wearer)
Your "God Given" rights are slowly being eroded.
Do you notice it now???

It is about time that we start cracking down on all of these wierdos. I don't need to advertise that I am not gay. Why do gays feel it necessary to tell us they are? Are they perverted? Yes!

This is sickening. Why do gays need to advertise their perversion? Keep it to yourself and you won't suffer "shock, disbelief and irritation".

The guard is the one that should be ashamed of himself and nothing like hitting them in the checkbook to make them wake up and treat people with the respect they deserve. I sincerely doubt that an apology would work.
