States have the right to make their own marriage laws, but under the U.S. Constitution's "Full Faith and Credit" clause they must legally recognize the marriages of all states, their own laws to the contrary notwithstanding.

If Louisiana, and other states, continue to violate this bedrock principle of our republic, then the federal courts are going to have to step in and order them to do so.

<quoted text>That is not true. It is another gay lie. DOMA overrides that and also the "Full Faith and Credit" clause does not apply to lawyers bar and to marriages that do not meet our social norms. If a man marries a woman in another country, they are married by US law, but if a man marries a 12 year old while in another country, it does not apply.
I guess while you were still marrying your cousin and wondering what the word "shoes" means, you didn't hear or read that SCOTUS ruled that DOMA was unconstitutional. Did ya ?

Unlike you, us Brooklyn Yankees know how to read and we keep up with current events and the latest SCOTUS rulings and other court rulings of importance.

DOMA was ruled unconstitutional, though the SC stopped short of ordering all states to recognize same sex marriage. It certainly does not trump the "full faith and credit" clause.

And are you really comparing gay folks marrying adults to straight people marrying children? That's creepy.

Why don't they throw those law breaking people in Louisiana's revenue department in jail where they belong?

THOUSANDS of new lawsuits on the way, in addition to the pending lawsuits in 13+ states.

These anti-gay states enforcing their laws will only hasten the demise of their "gay marriage" bans.

I agree. SCOTUS is going to have to rule on this in the near future.

Stop paying attention to Glenn Beck, then.

51 percent of Americans support laws legalizing same sex marriage.

Putting aside, whether or not something is constitutional doesn't require popular support, e.g., bigots such as yourself screamed when SCOTUS struck down laws banning mixed race marraiges.

Made up numbers mean nothing, bigot.

Many states had laws making it illegal for white women to marry with black men.

Tick tock.

They also cite that when SCOTUS punted on Prop 8, they signaled that they were not willing to rule bans on SSM as unconstitutional.
Believe whatever you want.

It won't stop us from getting marriage equality nationwide within the decade.

Though I agree the SCOTUS wasn't ready yet (YET) to overturn all remaining bans. They'll likely give it a couple more years.

Putting aside, whether or not something is constitutional, is exactly what you bigots do. Bigots racists such as yourself screamed when slavery was ended and you gays are NOW more segregated and racist against black gays than it was in pre-1950 Alabama. Do you make black gays use different bathrooms and drinking fountains? Outside of course, since you are so segregated.
Hmmm, if 71% of Americans support laws defining marriages as one man & one woman you claim, then how is it over 50% of voters in Maine, Maryland, & Washington states all voted in FAVOR of allowing same-sex couples to marry?

Nope, haven't seen a single poll which show opposition to equal rights anywhere near 70%.
