Are we seeing the slow return of moderate Republicans? I've read quite a few stories lately of how the Tea Baggers are being thrown under the bus. Hope it continues.

Aww poor heartless, bigoted Bryan. What's the matter, can't stand it that more people are leaving your pathetic hate filled life in the dust? Cry me a river. Hey Bryan in the words of the great Patsy Stone, "Just die already."

Let's hope that the states that already have granted us EQUAL marriage rights, also do this.

I don't want to see a "moderate" get the Republican nomination for POTUS.

"Moderate Republican" is just another term for "DEMOCRAT".

Amazing how you parade (with such pride) your declared prejudice. How would you react if some moron said "I won't vote for ANY gay candidate!"

Amazing how some are so proud of their own bigotry, yet get positively hysterical if anyone dares irrefutably illustrate your own hypocrisy. So don't get all righteous when somebody doesn't like you or anybody in the gay community because of your demonstrated hypocritical bullsh!t. You make it more difficult for the entire gay community.

How proud you must be.

Actually, "Moderate Republican" means Moderate Republican. Not sure why you can't read two fairly simple words. Then again, if you can't tell the difference between a moderate Republican and a Democrat, maybe you should just keep your ignorance to yourself rather than broadcasting it all over this forum.

It's not bigotry. I bet a vast majority of the people who post here would also say they would NEVER vote for a Republican candidate.

(Just as I will NEVER vote for a DEMOCRAT (also known as "socialists", "communists", "Leninists", "Obamaniacists" and "The Evil Ones".)

That's bigotry. I vote for whomever I believe to be the best candidate from those on the ballot. I don't discriminate on the basis of race, gender, party affiliation, or sexual orientation.

Your mileage may vary.

And just because "a vast majority" proclaim their prejudice (like they did in the deep South), doesn't mean that prejudice is in any way admirable. Would you support someone not voting for a candidate solely because that candidate is gay?

I stand by what i said. Ask posters here if they would EVER consider voting for a Republican, and I am SURE the VAST MAJORITY, will say "NO ! NEVER !"

And remember that I'm a Libertarian AND a Tea Partier.:)(I NEVER leave home without my plastic tricorn hat.:))

Me either. I want to see someone like Santorum or Rand Paul or Ted Cruz get the nomination; some real nutjob.

Just because the "VAST MAJORITY" of posters are openly prejudiced doesn't mean I am required to support such prejudice. And of course you avoided the question about somebody declaring they would never vote for a gay candidate. Would you support that bigotry as well?

I support your right to be a bigot. Doesn't mean I have to agree with your bigotry.

So you would CONSIDER voting for a Nazi ? a KKK'er ? a Communist ? a Maoist ? a Fidelista ???

Somehow, I don't think so.

Irrelevant and frankly stupid questions. I have, however, voted for the occasional Democrat, based on issues, character, and who the opposing candidate might be. For instance, I don't see me seriously considering voting for Santorum. He's just scary.
