Elvis impersonators might not be that big with the male gays. But could you imagine the demand for Bette Midler, Babs, Liza, Cher? LOL A whole new revenue for Vegas weddings.

Your wedding plans are a tad premature. According to this article, the earliest marriages will be allowed in Nevada will be 2016/2017. This bill will also have to be approved by the next Legislature in 2015 and by the voters in 2016, because they have to re-amend their Constitution to get there.

We'll have Liberace impersonators
.
It will be fab-glam; complete with 12-foot player grand pianos with the lids propped open; and digital candlelabras flickering in the Febreeze
.
Its hard to believe that Nevada; of all places; has dragged its butt on gay marriage as long as it has

It couldn't get more fabulous! LOL In reality, I'd go for just a quiet, small ceremony, and one hell of a reception and honeymoon!

At least they've got the ball rolling, this is the first time any state has gotten the re-amendment process started. I just wanted to make sure that no ones immediate wedding plans were going to get ahead of themselves on the let's run off to Vegas and get hitched idea. If this is how we're going to need to get this done, we got a whole lot of work ahead of us.

Yeah there is, and in a State predicated upon gambling and prostitution. It's just that the mob don't like no "feminella".

I was thinking of the long drawn out process we will have to go through to take down all these amendments, not the attitudes that will inevitably make that process and even more drawn out than it really should be. In states like Nevada where you can't just petition a re-amendment on the ballot, you gotta get the Legislatures go along twice, just to get on the ballot.

Easier to do than undo.
