When I use the words of Wiccans, I am not lying.

You can call THEM liars if you like, but that wouldn't be the same ... would it Bitner?

And crafty Wiccans such as Miriam (Starhawk) DO make their own media.

Pagans, Witches and Media

For Witches and Pagans who feel underrepresented in the mainstream media, the world has never offered so many avenues through which we can make our own media.

They are not lying. When YOU deliberately twist what is said so that you can use it as "proof" of an untrue statement, YOU are lying.

There are also many contradictions in Christianity, but people compartmentalize and make it work in their favor. They simply choose the scriptures that they favor, and ignore the ones that make them uncomfortable.

Now I have also tried to say that because Wiccans don't believe in Satan, that Christian Wicca can't be possible either. But people will make "Messianic" Wicca work regardless of the contradictions. I say Blessings to them.

Well, Atheism comprises so many things. But one of the two emerging themes of Atheism is that you are your own Goddess or God. Another is that there is no Goddess or God.

While I believe that some Wiccans such as myself believe that each of us is a son and daughter of the Gods and thus we are Gods ourselves, I also believe that other Gods exist.

So because Atheism also holds that "There is no God", I would say that it is impossible for someone to be an Atheist Wiccan.

Active imaginations create images, but are the images real, or are they "simply" flights of fancy?
>>>>>>> >>>>>>> >>>>>>> >>>>>>> >>>>>>> >>>>>>> >>>>>

In another life I used to manage a coffee shop and I employed several Evangelical Christians. Listening to their experiences, I was surprised by how much of what they said mirrored my own faith. They talked about a personal relationship with Jesus in the same way I talk about a personal relationship with Pan.

Luckily for us as Pagans, itÂ’s Christianity that tends to get made fun of the most, and those are the types of pictures that come up in my Facebook feed. Some of them are certainly funny, but many of them can be downright mean. When I see some of that stuff I do chuckle, but that laugh tends to end with me remembering that I believe Pan runs through the woods chasing nymphs and having sex with sheep.

Certainly NOT you!

You fired your nasty Catholic god and now worship a Divine goddess and a Divine god!

Silly woman!
