When the claws come out, it shows the person as not being quite so "all that."

Real witchcraft deserves respect --not O'Donnell's dabbling
Whatever Christine O'Donnell may have dabbled in, it wasn't Witchcraft.

On this I agree with Miriam.

We need a different measure of strength
Is there such a thing as a 'just war'? The problem with that question is that when we answer 'yes', we end up in a world where there is 'just war'--just war as an ultimate solution to every problem, whether it be terrorists, international diplomacy, drugs in our streets or bugs in our gardens.

Did you get that wrong?
Not based on what you were saying at THAT time. Since then, you have admitted to proselytizing for Atheism.

Stating facts is not "bullying".
So when the Christians state that their god is offended by homosexuality, and Miriam states that the goddess is NOT offended by homosexuality ... who are to believe Bitner?

Are the Christians using their religion to bully those who are gay?

Those were "her" words in the editorial ... not mine.
Of COURSE they were her words. When did I say otherwise?

The fact is that she was promoting the very same thing you always do, in an EDITORIAL about her religion. She was not "selling" religion, she was espousing the concept behind the Golden Rule.

No, it is not the context of those conversations.
Yes it was. You were just as insistent that your religion was right, as were the Christians.

Being right about your religions WAS the context.

My beliefs have not changed one iota since I left religion entirely.

I don't believe in gods of any human creation, but I still keep open to the idea that awareness might continue for all living entities after death of physical bodies.

However, as I can't read the future ... I simply don't know the answers to mysteries.

What difference does that make as her point is that there IS no such thing as a "just war"?

Some of them do, yes.

And frankly, I don't care WHICH religion you believe on the subject.

She's a Wiccan witch and she's selling her ideas in her many books ... BIG TIME. This is from the same site.

I'm not in a religion, and I don't bully those who are gay.

Miraim Simos uses a goddess to claim that the goddess looks favorably on sex. She makes money by those lies.

Big difference.

LOL, June, you have made contradictory statements about your beliefs. That was one of those times.

If you weren't so busy trying to backpedal from the fact that you DO pretend to "know the mysteries" by saying that people who are religious are wrong/lying/deluded, you wouldn't have to worry about someone mislabelling you due to the confusion caused by your own words.

So shall I protect the Christians that use the bible to bully those who are gay.

After all, if you want your religion protected, I must also defend the rights of the Christians that use their bibles to bully those who are gay. RIGHT Bitner?

If you don't care what I believe, then why are you arguing with me??? Oh I understand ... it's because I lie and you don't.

It's the bio. So? She's not selling anything in the editorials you've been quoting. Again, you'd have known that if you were actually reading, instead of skimming to find something to whine about.

I wish I knew what an unreal witch is. Maybe Bitner knows.

What is a REAL witch Bitner?

The True Spirit of Halloween, for Real Witches

For real Witches, Halloween has a deeper, spiritual meaning. This is the season when we honor the ancestors, mourn those who have died this year, and celebrate life.

So if Starhawk says the goddess approves of sex ... is she right, or is she just playing at being a goddess by speaking on behalf of a supposed goddess?
