“Pharmacists must seek to raise people's awareness so that all human beings are protected from conception to natural death, and so that medicines truly play a therapeutic role”

Pope Benedict XVI said Monday that pharmacists have a right to use conscientious objection to avoid dispensing emergency contraception or euthanasia drugs - and told them they should also inform patients of the ... via Fables of the reconstruction

One fellow said that if he gets to heaven, God is going to have a lot of explaining to do.

REALLY???

A god that dictates what humans MUST believe, will have to give explanations to one his praying, grovelling, worshipping subjects???

OH ... I doubt THAT!

There will be complete bliss in heaven ... or ELSE!!!

If you think the god expects a lot of you on earth, just wait until you get to heaven.

If you think you will have a right to an opinion up there ... think again.

God's will WILL be done ... period!

I prefer earth, where at least I get my own way part of the time.

Your imaginary god is also pro-death. He created women KNOWING they would have abortions.

Now ... I suggest you get back to worshipping him full time, as he doesn't want you to be yourself.

For creating a plan where death exists, are you suggesting that your god is EVIL?

It appears that he didn't want souls and his spirit to stay in communion with him, or he would have created that plan. He wanted humans and all other forms of life to be in states of suffering and misery, so he could preach about his own perfection. If he existed he would be an egotistical monster.

ONLY the theologians that created religion are responsible for religion. Imagine how many theologians would have lost their livelihoods if they had only preached of heaven.

Nature is cruel. It doesn't preach sermons about heaven or hell ... but it is fair and just ... as suffering applies to all forms of life ... including humans.

Those in religion that believe they are saved are often not in a hurry to go be with the god of their salvation. Most of them seem to want to stay on earth for some peculiar reason.

When they come down with some terminal disease ... rather than hoping the god will take them home, they often go through the most barbaric treatments to try to stay on earth.

Humans are indeed an odd lot of creatures.

My guess is that those who believe in the existence of heaven and hell, no matter how strong they claim is their faith, have some doubt about putting themselves in the care of such a god.

I wouldn't trust a god that created such a plan.

He could decide at any moment (tongue-in-cheek) that he changed his mind, in that I broke one of his very important commandments ... and in one of his moods send me to hell for eternity.

And all that worship I gave him while alive on earth wouldn't amount to even a pinch of salt.

If your faith in such a god is weak ... it SHOULD be weak. The theologians taught you that he has all the power ... and you have NONE.

Naughty, naughty theologians!!!

Some people believe that society is evil because lusts for material comforts replaced "GOD."

Theologians created gods to supply their own material comforts.

Make NO mistake about THAT issue.

Those popes, rabbis, mullahs, imams, dalai lamas, etc., lived high on their fear-filled dogmas created by mortal men that in turn lived the lust-filled lives comparable to gluttonous hogs in a trough.

And nothing has changed.

The working man, the soldiers, the women that gave birth to one child after another, after another were the ones to support the hogs at the top in power.

Wake up people ... or not ... the onus is on you.

By those in religion, the Divide and Conquer plan was and is used again and again and again.

Christians at odds with Christians. Muslims at odds with Muslims ... Jews at odds with Jews, and on and on and on.

Look around and see what religion has done for you. It gave you empty promises ... insurance-plans that in an after-life you will reap bliss!

The futility of it all by the majority goes unnoticed, and in turn keeps the Divide and Conquer plan alive and very unwell.

Is that the legacy you want to pass on to your children?

REALLY???

And at one time, popes could order who would be burned at the stake as heretics.

That's a lot of power for one man to hold over others ... and it occurred all because he was able to USE that one word ... "GOD."

How Mother Teresa could buy that nonsense of poverty being honorable to "god" ... while at the same time she watched the members of the hierarchy living lives of hoggish gluttony is amazing to me.

She simply never wanted to rock her own boat concerning her own religious dogmas.

Had she asked questions it would have destroyed her own concept of reality ... sainthood, heaven and the lot, and that must have been more than she could bear.

But still, in her own words, her conscience let her know that she was at odds with herself.

The popes and their courts had supreme authority over all other humans. And for centuries they put dissenting Catholics to death simply for not following the rules of the popes.

The ex-Catholic Protestants Luther and his gang of thugs were equally as barbaric ... but at least they broke the power held by the Popes.

From the book,“The Papal Conspiracy Exposed, and Protestantism Defended,” by Rev. Edward Beecher, published in 1855, comes the following……

In the beginning of the sixteenth century, the well-known Dominican, Thomas of Gaeta, did not hesitate to declare the church a born slave, who could have no other remedy against a bad pope than to pray for him without ceasing.”

Now this pope was definitely in a foul mood.

How sad it was for the popes to not be able to put others to death for the sake of "god." sarcasm intended.

From the book,“The Papal Conspiracy Exposed, and Protestantism Defended,” by Rev. Edward Beecher, published in 1855, comes the following……

When the Christian alliance was formed to extend the principles of religious liberty into all lands, Pope Gregory XVI., in an encyclical letter to all patriarchs, primates, archbishops, and bishops, issued May 8, 1844, denounced and slandered with the utmost virulence the whole doctrine of religious liberty, as hostile to the very fundamental elements of the Papacy, as well as of civil despotisms in general. He slandered it under the name of “indifference in religion.” The same pope also, in 1832, declared “that liberty of conscience is a most pestilential error,” and “that unbridled liberty of opinion is THAT PEST OF ALL OTHERS MOST TO BE DREADED IN THE STATE.” He also denounced “that worst and never to be sufficiently EXECRATED AND DETESTED LIBERTY OF THE PRESS.”
