There are 216668 comments on the Fables of the reconstruction story from Oct 30, 2007, titled Catholic Church Waging War on Women and Gays. In it, Fables of the reconstruction reports that:

“Pharmacists must seek to raise people's awareness so that all human beings are protected from conception to natural death, and so that medicines truly play a therapeutic role”

Pope Benedict XVI said Monday that pharmacists have a right to use conscientious objection to avoid dispensing emergency contraception or euthanasia drugs - and told them they should also inform patients of the ... via Fables of the reconstruction

We never heard a story about the evil of dinosaurs that caused their extinction ... but humans are often prone to believe they are so important in the scheme of things that a god is going to end the world because of humans entertaining evil.

Many people get their emotional HIGHS from such superstitions.

How did superstitions begin?

Superstitions began centuries ago when our ancestors tried to explain mysterious circumstances or events as best as they could with the knowledge they had.

For instance, before the development of science explained such strange things as why mirrors show our reflections or why shadows appear when it's sunny, ancient people reasoned that a shadow or reflection was part of their soul.

If someone broke something onto which the shadow or reflection appeared, people believed that their soul was harmed. Therefore, when a person broke a mirror it was considered unlucky or harmful.

Today we know that reflections and shadows are not part of our souls but if someone still believes it is bad luck to break a mirror they are said to be superstitious.

So a superstition is a belief or practice that people cling to even after new knowledge or facts prove that these silly beliefs are untrue.

To even mention a certain superstition to people who are prone to easy persuasion can be a detriment to their mental health.

My guess is, that is why so many people who believed in a devil suffered emotionally to the extreme with worry that the devil was going to lead them astray, or already "had" lead them astray.

Religion never was a good plan.

Some have hypothesied that all of us and everything in the universe is only a reflection of true reality. And we and everything we know is but an illusion.

We never caught the bogeyman mentality from our parents, but we caught it at school from other kids whose parents no-doubt used the terminology on them.

And so it went. It was thrilling in the sense of telling such stories at bed-time and scaring the be-jeepers out of each other with threats that the bogeyman was always going to attack the other guy.

And so it went and so it goes with superstitions.

A bogeyman (also spelled bogieman, boogeyman or boogieman) is an amorphous imaginary being used by adults to frighten children into compliant behaviour. The monster has no specific appearance, and conceptions about it can vary drastically from household to household within the same community; in many cases, he has no set appearance in the mind of an adult or child, but is simply a non-specific embodiment of terror. Parents may tell their children that if they misbehave, the bogeyman will get them. Bogeymen may target a specific mischief — for instance, a bogeyman that punishes children who suck their thumbs — or general misbehavior, depending on what purpose needs serving. In some cases, the bogeyman is a nickname for the devil.

That was Einstein's theory.

Past, present and future are one and the same. Time is an illusion.

I doubt that Einstein believed there was or is a true reality, but maybe I'm wrong.

Einstein died when I was 16.

In more ways than one, he was out of my league.

I just heard Judge Mathis stating in court that anyone who judges homosexuals because of their orientation is ignorant.

Times are changing.

No judge in any court of law would have come out with such a statement a very short time back in history.

It's becoming more "fashionable" throughout society to be supportive of homosexuals.

People are going against religion that teaches the gods are offended by homosexuality. And from my perspective ... those in churches never should have had power to use an image of a god to bully homosexuals in the first place.

And as more people believe that a fetus in the womb is made up of cells as are the fetuses of other animals ... and remove the idea from their psyches that a god is placing his spirit in the fetuses of humans ... women will not be perceived as sinning murderers for having abortions.

Theologians were and are busy using religion to stir up as much trouble as possible, so that their words keep having meaning, and they can hold people in mind-bondage to the religious cults.

For centuries the Muslims and the Christians killed each other as heretics and infidels, and the Christians killed each other as heretics and infidels. And meanwhile they were all preaching that having abortions was evil and very offensive to God.

From my perception the idea that humans can go beyond his/her own awareness, is a statement that stems FROM ego.
>>>>>>> >>>>>>> >>>>>>> >>>>>>> >>>>>>> >>>>>>> >>

Cosmic Consciousness is an ultra high state of illumination in the human Mind that is beyond that of "self-awareness," and "ego-awareness."

If humans can attune to some sort of cosmic consciousness, then maybe that is what occurred with this dog.

Do you suppose that he saw a dog-god chasing him and just couldn't tell anybody about his experience?
