Svaha and Bitner ... the two followers of Starhawk.
But yet they pretend they don't prefer their own beliefs.
That just falls on those of us who disagree with Paganism.
How handy is THAT???
:)
Well, Bit doesn't care what I believe or don't believe in June. I don't much care what Bit believes in. But I challenge you to find one post to say either of us shoved our beliefs down ANYONE's throat. Won't happen. You and Daystorm, on the other hand, care deeply what other people believe in trying to bully folks into "it":-) Negative attention is better than no attention at all

The goddess is only as open-minded as the believers are certain is true.

What a coincidence.

The Goddess Blesses All Forms of Love

As Pagans, we think sex is a good thing. The Goddess blesses all forms of love. Gay, straight, bisexual, queer, transgender — all sexual orientations are welcome in our tradition.

If you and Bitner don't care, why are both here arguing and defending Paganism as being of value?

Neither one of you defended the Christians who have every right to believe in hell and to believe that both of you and I are going there.

When I was a bigot to the Christians Svaha and Bitner actually respected my beliefs.

My ... how things changed once I started studying the Pagan beliefs.

Note how Svaha was SO nice to me back then, as we were against the Frank, Mary, Cruzader, etc.

Once I started studying Paganism, Thomas referred to me as "batshit crazy." But note how he treated me with respect back when we were all dissing the Christians.

Believers are very fickle indeed.

Good grief it's hard to tell you and Daystorm sound so much alike. Daystorm says I have to believe in HIS way if I want to be the righteous, fabulous human being he is. His craziness did come first so I guess you're just shit out of luck that I don't have time for your beliefs. But I'll keep you in mind ;-)

Now that I've studied Wicca, I see that Catholic-Franck might have had a point.

When consensual sex is promoted as holy to a goddess, and the believers fall for that story ... it makes it "easy going" for the guys.

Wait a minute. Islam is one of the Abrahamic religions if I remember correctly and you yourself said they acknowledge the Christ as a prophet. If you want to see evil let's look at what Christianity did to the jews, the pagans and the witches (and those from whom they wanted their property). Own it because it is YOURS:-)

Back then Svaha actually seemed a lot like DayStorm in "reverse."

But Svaha is very respectful now of Christians, and you better believe it, and because they are so respectful of other people's beliefs, Svaha and Bitner demand the same of me.

OH ... that I could be that wonderful.

Wiccan Sex

Having said that, a witch is not bound by puritanical repression in this day and age (for now at least). And the whole of the law is: Do what you will, long as it harms none.

In other words, just do it.

Of course, if you don’t want to have sex nobody has any right to coerce you. That goes double for a person in authority. Never allow anyone to force you in any way to have sex.

Having said that, a witch is above all a healer. Mercy sex is not only allowed--as long as it harms none--but encouraged. Especially some of you hunky men out there. Go for a ride with a woman a few pounds overweight. I guarantee you’ll have a wonderful time. Really. Sex is incredibly healing.

So, when a chance comes to soar with eagles or stoop to help an injured bird, take it. In the end, the things we regret most are the things we never did. It's all up to you and no other. At least as a solitary witch.

You can bet that there are 13 and 14 year old girls that are already in Wicca reading this sexual pornographic material and believing that a goddess and god approve.

People have no right to preach that gods or goddesses approve or disapprove of any human behavior. Yet they take it AS their right, and claim that what they preach IS right.

From my perspective they are liars "dressed" in god-garb!

Wiccan Sex

The Great Rite is a ceremony where two people take the charge of the Goddess and the Horned God--I'll say! Traditionally, the Goddess then lies on the floor with arms and legs outstretched in the form of a pentagram.

Sex is performed in the manner preferred by the chosen couple, though usually the interaction is highly charged--often taking on a life of it's own. One of those times when the whole is far greater than the sum of its parts. It's the two of you plus a generous helping of one or more ethereal entities: Gods and Goddesses, typically divine but sometimes extremely profane.

What does this have to do with anything I just said to you. Like the "good christian" you are, you rely on "if you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullshit". Typical fundy nonsense

so what you're saying is that only atheists have sex correctly and for the correct reasons? That a woman's morality lies somewhere between her legs? Very "christian" of you June:-)

June, you're STILL a bigot to the Christians. Some of them are also bigots. I used to respect YOU, when you WERE fairly seeing things. You ALSO knew then that not all Christians were the same. And no, it had nothing to do with you "studying" anything. You DON'T "study". You search for things to prove your agenda. There's a difference. Your desperation to prove that all religions are the same as the one you hate has turned you into a liar and a fraud.
