She really did beat herself all to hell as one of the most stunningly effective Secretaries of State I've seen in my lifetime. Rice? Not a chance. Picture a Bachmann/Palin ticket though (and try to keep your lunch down). Well, it's a good thing I'm reading this now instead at breakfast time......lol!!!! How about a Powell/Rice ticket......they'd beat Bachmann/Palin hands down, no matter what party than ran for!!!

I keep telling people the confederacy is alive and well, which is exactly why I no longer travel below the Manson-Nixon line. It's simply too dangerous for normal people.

Picture a Bachmann/Palin ticket though (and try to keep your lunch down). I don't think the Republicans would nomintate Bachmann or Palin, even if they wanted to court women voters. I'd guess it would be more like another Romney - someone who is a chameleon, shifting between ultra-right and more centrist rhetoric. But I agree with you on Hilary - I think her career is pretty much done. Rice would be outed if she tried to run - everyone knows she is a closet dyke.

Chance wrote: This article starts out with "We’ve just emerged from a presidential campaign that exposed how hardened our political and cultural divide has become, and how poorly the two sides understand each other." And then it goes on to prove that the left clearly doesn't understand the right, even as the author is blah-blah-blahing on and on about what they think they understand about the right. The author is wrong. Nonsense like this just goes to show the leftists are very ignorant or they are purposely writing b.s. to throw off other leftists. And then you go on to prove the right clearly doesn't understand the left either. Kinda the whole point of the article; NEITHER side understands the other, but BOTH sides THINK they do.

In fact, I emphatically say I don't understand how people could be as blind and stupid as you have to be on the left.

Care to reconsider that stupid A$$ remark there boi? Texas may have a lower unemployment rate, but most of the jobs created since 2000 have been minimum wage positions. Unless you are in the Oil or Finance, you are not going to make anything like you would in the Northeast.

Texas is so competitive job wise most places can't afford to pay their employees minimum wage. Gas station attendants can start at almost $13 an hour.

Jane DoDo wrote: <quoted text>LIAR! Nice refutation. Nice and detailed, eh? Are State and Local taxes NOT deductible on Federal returns? Do high tax States NOT use this deduction as a selling point to raise taxes? Do low tax Red States take advantage of this deduction so flagrantly? And is this deduction NOT offset by higher Federal rates that hit residents low tax States disproportionately? Skip the blanket condemnations, get to the details, Booboo, details
