There is far more to the evolutionary process than individual reproduction.
Non-reproducing members of a cooperative species can serve the species as a whole.
It's obvious "replaytime" never heard of ANTS or any of the many other species of animals that use sexual reproduction but clearly benefit from having non-breeding individuals in the species.

And our bigot participant also fails to realize that being gay does not mean never being a parents. Perhaps he should google Neil Patrick Harris to see what a gay parent might look like.(Hell, he could even ask me! I have two kids.)

The will of the people is once again overturned by a court. No surprise.
One group of "the people" do not get to strip away basic civil and human rights from another group of "the people" based ONLY on religious belief, or animus.

Wouldn't it be terrible if such a thing was constitutional?

We are apes? interesting. I can see why people would buy into the MSM on this issue. Something for you to think about: The human Y chromosome has twice as many genes as the Chimpanzee Y chromosome. Humans have at least 78 genes and Chimpanzees have only 37. The Y chromosomes of Chimpanzees and humans are radically different in the arrangement of their genes. What more need I say? Or should I continue? So for evolution to work the number of genes would have to about double and reorganize themselves. There is NO biological mechanism that allows for this to happen. Mutating genes is very different than creating genes. Plus reorganizing them!

Also, A cell is one of the most basic forms of living biology, it may have been the first life. A cell would have had to create itself, learn to breath, learn to reproduce, learn to evolve. Obviously this is impossible. A single cell is way to complex for this to be possible. Watch this video of how a cell actually works. It probably won't make sense to most people but it clearly demonstrates the complexity of even the simplest life.

(See 2010, Nature published a scientific paper entitled "Chimpanzee and human Y chromosomes are remarkably divergent in structure and gene content." Nature, by the way, is the most respected peer reviewed scientific journal for evolutionary genetics.)

It is perhaps more accurate to say that we are a KIND of "ape".

"Learning" is possible, and expandable when, say, eating is done by absorption rather than digestion.

Mutation is a kind of "learning", albeit not "conscious".

Oh look, you're a copy/paste poster too.

There's no point in discussing evolution with you, because it is a fact that cannot change just because you don't believe in it.
It's like gravity, you can denounce it all you want, but when you jump off a building, don't be surprised when you plummet towards the ground.

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the constitution and the bill of rights. I believe that if we follow the constitution eventually freedom will win. One example would be abolishment of slavery.

Are you referring to me citing a scientific journal? I cannot discuss this issue with anyone who refuses to accept scientific evidence. It would be a waste of time.

There's nothing equal at all, but that's alright, you'll answer to God one day when he asks you why you rejected him when you accepted an abomination he did NOT create. And no, he did not make you gay, you made yourself cause IT IS A CHOICE!!! Don't waste your time replying, You'll just be ignored

Well, can you explain why we share the VAST majority of our human genes with certain ape species?

Does God have a sense of humor?

And what does a belief or disbelief in evolution have to do with a couple getting married? Marriage is a man-made construct, not science.

It's a nice construct, though, for those who value it and approach it wisely.

But it isn't a choice - and wont become one no matter how hard you hold to your belief that it is.

It's really quite absurd to think that sexual orientation can be chosen. You didn't choose yours, did you?

Choice requires at least two separate and available options.

If you really believe that young kids going through puberty have the magical ability to completely extinguish all attraction to the opposite gender and replace it with only the attraction to the same gender, can you explain the mechanism?

And most do this magic trick without ever having met a gay person, or understanding what being gay really means!

Any sensible person can see the foolishness of the "choice" argument.

Just look at your own kids. Can THEY accomplish this feat?

I would encourage you to read up on this subject. Using your logic I could say we might have evolved from bananas. Compare the DNA of a banana with that of human and you may be surprised. Anyways, my main point goes unchallenged. There is no biological mechanism to accomplish evolution. Even evolutionary scientist Richard Dawkins said that life here is to complex to have evolved on its own and that aliens must have "seeded" life on earth!

Do you want me to make a shambles of your post?
a) I don't believe in God. Since I can no more disprove your assertion that he exists anymore than you can disprove my assertion that he does not, there is room for doubt.
b) If we accept your assertion that God does exist, we are all made in his own image.(Genesis 1:27)
c) We are instructed not to judge others (Matthew 7:1-5)
d) We are instructed to forgive ( http://www.biblestudytools.com/topical-verses... )

Your stance is not really Christian, and the bible warns us to be wary of hypocrites.

"Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples:“The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.

“Everything they do is done for people to see: They make their phylacteries[a] wide and the tassels on their garments long; they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; they love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and to be called ‘Rabbi’ by others.

“But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah. The greatest among you will be your servant. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted."
