So now you speak for ALL straight men?

Who are you to tell someone whether they're gay or not?

See, this would be that arrogance I was referring to in another thread.

YOU don't get to decide who's gay or who's straight. How they self-identify is entirely up to them.

I've had sex with women, and that doesn't make straight, or even bisexual.
I've met many straight men who enjoyed having anal sex; that doesn't make them gay.
At some point you people will figure out it's not just about sex.
i think you'd have to explain more on this...
so we have a straight man that just likes sex with men?
is that what you are saying?

and you have had sex with women, but are not attracted to them, is that what you are suggesting?

Aww; Geeze#@@%*!!
.
We can't get graphic enough in this chat room to break through your mental block; so lets try this:
.
The straight guys we're discussing are 'NOT' attracted to men; and their wife or girlfriend is 'NOT' physically equipped to give them an all-natural anal orgasm
.
Only a GAY GUY posesses the functional physical equipment; the 'ABILITY'; the knowledge; and the experience required to trigger an all-natural anal orgasm in a straight guy; so the straight guys seek us out discretely

Correct.

It's only a difficult concept for those who focus on the specific sex acts as a definition of sexual orientation.

That's how I can tell you're a straight man; one who is slightly insecure about their own sexuality.(no, that doesn't mean I'm calling you gay).

C'mon, you seem rather intelligent, rational, & analytical when it comes to the law (even if I disagree will some of your conclusions). How can you be so ignorant when it comes to sexuality?

Think about it a bit, and if you really want me to explain how what I said can be so, I will.

seriously, I am...

I am not focused on the act at all, I am focused on what is "attraction".
If you see someone and you want to "do them" (for lack of a better term) is that not "attraction"?

am I wrong to focus orientation on attraction?

Also, of course i would say this, but I am not at all insecure about my sexuality. Believe it or not, I have gay friends, and have had gay roommates (and many offers). I just don't feel any "attraction" at all. Frankly I think the male body is repulsive while the female curves are pure art....

if there is a split between sex acts and attraction as I think you are suggesting, doesn't that then open the door to the argument that the attraction is not a choice but the sex act is?

or I could just be way off base here...

No. there are well known instances of totally straight men in all male situations having very active sex lives. Younger guys often sample, some are truly bisexual. Just 'cause YOU don't want it doesn't mean others may not. All the heteros I had met who wanted it had the exact same complaint. Disinterest wives, lack of novelty, curious, whatever.

As for those "lesbians" you pulled back, you mean like a shameless little opportunist like Ann Heche?

Well, finally we can agree. I have had female roommates, I have had many women come on to me, when I was younger and less haggard than this hoary old age, but the thought is as odd as me springing wings and flying away.

I have ZERO interest in the female body. I find the male body a work of art...think "David" statue. I have NEVER ever had an attraction to women. I have had some incredible close female friends and a couple I even had small crushes on, but if I were to accidentally open a door and see one of them naked, someone would run screaming and crying from the room..and it wouldn't be the gals!

not attraction?
then what?

I would say an attraction to ONLY the opposite sex. or so i thought, but I wonder what you guys think it is?

I would think a man who is attracted to other males for sex would be gay, but I am hearing that makes me something like a bigot...
