Talk to the people who are trying to deny gays and lesbians our Constitutionally guaranteed rights as American citizens. They're the ones keeping this issue alive while diverting resources of time, money, energy and talent that could be spent solving other problems.

Hey Im not against it. Im with the majority of the country when we say could care less. I just want the mayor to stand up and say he supports getting control over the random shotings and drug abuse all across this town, cracking down on welfare abuse to save the regular Joe taxpayer a few bucks, bringing more jobs, etc. This is just not news the city or the majority of the country want to hear.Put you support behind a real problem. Its bandwagon weakness.

Inequality of ANY kind will always be a "real" problem. Unconstituional laws will always be a "real" problem.

Both a threats to the very foundation of our country.

If you watched any of the repub debates, this was one of the ONLY things they talked about, ignoring economy, ecology, anything else. It was "God, family, apple pie, and no gays" day after day. I have lived a good long time and have NEVER seen people so riled up about gay people. Never. Even in the bad old days when we could be arrested for TALKING to one another in public.

Ravenstahl is a slow learner by major and medium size city standards in PA, which I think has more localities with glbt rights ordinances that any other state.

State wide laws are non existent, though, and it's hostile to marriage equality. It's purple overall.

Naturally you are complaining about the homophobes exerting their last gasp trying to stop marriage equality.

Where in the US Constitution does it say that a state can't just simply leave the United States?(It doesn't.)

Many rights endorsed by legislatures and executive orders and court cases come from "equal protection," implicit "privacy" and "liberty" clauses in the Constitution.

You're an ignorant gasbag.

Why, can't you find your down low counterpart to date in NY? You must be really vile looking, even by homophobe standards.

And you'll always be too stupid to make up an answer.

You're devoting all your mental energy to thinking about what men do with their genitals.
