Of course, one could posit that NPR decided to let these two fools speak their views because what they say is so outlandish that it damages their credibility every time a sane person hears them. There is no valid argument against equality under the law, which is really what is at stake, just as there is no compelling state interest served by denying same sex couples the right to marry that would render such a restriction constitutional. In the end equality will win, and when it prevails, these fools will have not lost any protections of the law, rights, or freedoms that they currently enjoy.
