I will never set foot in that country again after the rude way they treated me and my partner at the airport (at Rome when boarding a flight to Israel) and again at Ben Gurion when leaving the country at the end of our visit. Security concerns are one thing, but unbelievably rude behavior and treating visitors like criminals are totally inexcusable. If Israelis want to attract tourists to their country, rather than hire PR people to do fluff pieces, they should start by being more respectful to people in general.

I'm not buying it. Although I have no first-hand experience, I suspect Israel compares favorably to the US only if your reference point is Mississippi.

Real critical thinking of foreign affairs. Unlike here, because who generally runs the media? The bank? Foreign policy? Influences your crooked politicians through aipac, jdl, splc etc.

How much money or aid, including military aid has been given away to them to continually build 'illegally' on stolen land? Who has been bribed over the decades to continue this perpetual spiral of eVil?

Israel is very open and accepting of LGBTQ people especially in cosmopolitan areas such as Tel Aviv which is a wonderful place for gays. At the airports, security is stringent, and to keep passengers safe, I thank them for it...thank you Israel!

Sounds a bit too much like an apologia (is that the right term?) to me. It's like when gay Zionists argue to anti-Zionists that Israel is much more gay positive than the Palestinians. Of course that is true, but it doesn't cover up the fact that Israel is and was a land who laws are based on religion. The reason Israel does not have SSM, even though it recognizes that of other countries, is because there is no civil marriage there - all marriages are religious. The continued domination of the Israeli government by the "Natan-yahoos" goes to show that no matter what secular Israelis say (and some have posted on here in rebuttal to me) the country is still controlled by religious Jews combined with militariastic Zionist secularists. And this is not saying I think the Palestinians and Arabs are wonderful, either - I don't!
If the people in the Middle East really had less arrogance and more reason on both sides they could become very rich - Israel has tons of brilliant Jews; Arab countries have oil and resources. Together the Semitic peoples could probably dominate the world economy. Instead they spend most of their time fighting over religion and land.

Dov Hikind NY assemblymen sensationalizing the "Knockout game" sweeping the nation. Mostly non whites sucker punching their victims. Hikind MAY be incensed because one of the victims MAY have been Jewish. It didn't matter a few months back when a 'non white' thug beat the hell out of a young mother in front of her young child. I only matters now, righ Dov Hikind?

It's not that Arabs don't deserve it. By the way can you blame Israel for what's happening in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt, Yemen? Even if Israel wan't there Arabs would have done the same to each other and to others.

Please do tell me why they "Deserved" to have Palestine stolen by Britain. That's like me coming to your house and forcing you out forever. Did you 'deserve' it?

I have been to israel 2 times.

They have a need to do things like that.

When I went fighting happened and we had to go into an underground car park and wait for it to stop.

They were not being rude. Its a dangerous place and they cant risk having dead tourists.
